Your typical German bar. The place is is rather small, hence a more intimate drinking session with friends. They have a secluded area you can reserve for your special occasion. Nice food. Big portions. I love their mashed potato. A bit on the pricier side but then again, it’s South Jakarta so nothing too shocking.

Went here a few times to get a real German beer only successful once I realize there isn't much German food around, but, this is so-so. Not really that good I'm sure theyre limited in ingredients and what they can really do. Sausages ok, pork knuckle not really too good. They charge 100K for a "Konig". Not a bad traditional Bavarian wheat beer, but, its Indonesian! C' mon you cant charge western beer prices for Indonesian beer

Tried to order online but the prices have more than doubled and are now way above normal. Not worth it

Now my go to restaurant in Kemang. Best meat and tasty sides. Good service and affordable. Bintang is nice and cold. Everything I want.

N an attempt to get out hands on their pork knuckle, we finally decided to dine here on a sunday night. Situated in a rather old office building in kemang area, this place is safe to say a hidden germany gem for me. The front facade looked quite bavarian with old lamps, warm lighting and wooden window, not to mention the antique wooden door in front. I really appreciate the laidback atmosphere inside, there was also a separation between the smoking area that tends to exudes the bar style, as well as the diner-like non smoking area which fit for tonights dinner with my friends.
Okay, let's get to the main star here, the pork knuckle. We had it with rosti and creamy spinach as side. Boy oh boy, I was impressed with all of them. Spinach was soft that it took not much of an effort to chew, let alone the indulgent creamyness. Rosti was nice, normally I found this kind of dish as a pan fried potato pancake, but the one i had at Die Stube was crispier, more like semi deep- fried potato pancake that I like. Then, the pork knuckle itself, tasty with crispy skin and just the right mixture of juiciness of the meat and crispiness of the skin. So dare I say that the knuckle was balanced, it was more on the dry side with not much of oily fat which is my favorite. Service was okay, it wasn't super nice, but at the same time not bad. Just okay. Pricewise, considering their target market, was reasonable enough considering one portion of the knuckle could feed us four. Sure thing this will be the place for when i fancy someplace casual and a bit under the radar.

Great pub frequented by celebrities and such, also a good place if you're looking for excellent pork fares

Best place to hang out with yer friends and good choice for a tinder date! Because the music volume is low enough to chat properly, the alcohol is not too expensive and the pork is good. Also the lighting is dim enough to hide your insecurities. There is also TV hangin if you're visiting alone and into watching sports at a bar.

Great variety of german dishes and overall very tasty food. Since the portions are not made for a small stomach I sometimes just stick to the soups and snacks to sample a bigger variety. And so far I have never been disappointed by their meals. Also great platters to share if you go there with a group of friends. Or of cause just for drinks at the pub side of the place.

Good Food, Expensive Drinks, Average Service, I would go back even though it's expensive for the experience I got.

Can enjoy German cuisine with cold beer. Also till 8pm hapoy hour. Separated for smoking n non-smoking area

Love this place. Its germany restaurant. Non halal resto. Really nice decoration and atmosphere. Very friendly and great service also. Love their sausages and many kinds of pork, taste great. Price reasonable for this kind of quality. Crowds mostly adults. Definetly will come back again.

Having a family dinner here, we took the indoor place which was quieter than the Bar concept next door. The ambiance was very nice, the food was tasty (we didn't make the order for pork knuckle ahead, but luckily there's one ready, yass!). Will definitely come back!

Non halal (obviously). Serving pork knuckle and other authentic german dishes. Do reserve a day prior to visit for their signature pork dishes. Better than P**laner.
