A mysterious gallery that can only be visited for 3 hours a week

Rather than a gallery created to pursue commercial profit, it seems to be a display space for personal collections of Indonesian conglomerates, and is considerably larger than expected.

The 6th floor is really an exhibition hall where only the all-stars of Western painting are gathered (I first saw a review of this place, and it was a gallery that framed photos taken with originals, but these are works that precisely copy the originals. Strangely, even the frames have an antique feel. The atmosphere is strange) The purpose of creating this place is to educate Indonesians about Western painting art in close proximity.

If even one of these works is genuine, this gallery is a place where only such famous works can be called jackpots.

I like to browse galleries while traveling, so there are many works that I have seen as original works, but there are many copies that have a very similar feeling.

The 7th floor Chinese relics and private collections (watches, fountain pens) exhibition hall is more interesting (photographing is prohibited here)

Due to time constraints, it is recommended to have an early lunch and visit at 12: 00 if possible. Many families with children come to visit.

This place is so amazing. It display so many famous painting, ancient things. I was very amaze for what they have there. They collect all that things for more than 50 year to become like now

Breath taking collections. Its the perfect place to learn about classic paintings without having to go to europe. It opens only opens on sunday from 11 to 3 o’clock.

The pricing is varied by age. Children get in for 25k, under 21 get in for 50k, over 21 get in for 100k. It makes sense as a privately owned gallery.

There are museum guides that will bring you around. They are very knowledgeable in their field. Everyone is generally friendly and accommodating

The museum was good but the service of the employees was very bad, don’t ever loose your ticket or you can’t go to the 7th floor

Tempat ini seminggu sekali bukanya, banyak bgt lukisan dan barang2 seni yg wajib bgt buat pecinta seni datang.

Buat yang suka lukisan dari berbagai zaman, bermacam2 patung, peninggalan2 dinasti cina, udah paling cocok kesini. Ini jadi museum no 1 favorit gue. Hidden gems!

Place only has on the spot ticket, price is based on age, age >21 100k (Prepare Qris as your mode of payment). Located on 6&7th floor, only open for 3 hrs every Sunday! Entrance is thru this gate and is inside this building.

Filled with painting replicas, many art eg.sculpture, historical artefacts, and other collections. Best place to be is the 6th floor under the dome where you can sit around and see the magnificent paintings.

There are guides who explain the meaning and significance of paintings so keep an eye on them.

Note that 7th floor has no photo rule, but you can do that on the 6th floor.

Definitely worth a visit!
