Had a so-so experience having lunch in here. Octopus salad was great but kind of fishy, dry and not well seasoned salmon, loose tsukune, overburnt negima, and overseasoned negishio sasami, thick gyu tan (should be thinner), weird smell set of tuna sushis. I’m sorry but you may improve it better. What I like about was just your wasabi which was super strong and the ambience of restaurant.
Nyobain resto ini makan siang ini. Vibe's nya sik jepang²an banget lah. By the way mereka serve alkohol juga sepertinya. Kita cobain beberapa menu.dan makanannya Enak². Cuman ebi tempuranya aja B banget.sisanya.menyenangkan!
Giving it a solid 4 star for everything because the food was good for an affordable price. Atmosphere was nice and each seat had some privacy but it also made it harder to get the waiter's attention. Satisfied!
Saya senang memesan makanan disini karna rasanya benar benar rasa jepang. Dan cocok dilidah.porsinya juga gak nanggung.packingannya selalu rapi dan aman.
The place is filled with salaryman during lunchtime. We ordered four lunch sets and I have to say it tastes real good. But their lacking was the salmon took a long time to prepare, so we had to recheck several times to make sure they got the order.
My go-to Japanese grubs for after office refreshment when in Karet area. Frequented mostly by Japanese expats, the cold Sapporo and the ambience add to the authenticity. The kushimusubi salad is a must have for starter, oh and also the gyutan korokke.
Arguably the best authentic izakaya-style Japanese food in Jakarta. This place will make you feel like you've been transported to Japan altogether. The price is somewhat on the more expensive side, but you're paying for authentic, fresh, Japan-sourced ingredients with freshness that you will not find almost anywhere else.
Highly recommend their izakaya-style sour alcohols and pair them to cold lemon somen. They have a massive collection of Sake as well if you're into drinking with your friends
We ordered quite a few things, salads, somen, grilled Saba set, kaisen donburi; all of them are so tasty and tastes authentic. Highly recommended
Food is just OK, not that special as advertise. Plus it's pricy. Nice waitress, but slow service and hard to call them when needed for Ocha refill or other services.
Cabbage Salad (8/10) Gottui Mechi Katsu (8/10) Mentai Sasami (8/10) Wasabi Sasami (8/10) Mune Yakitori (8/10) Si Kuwa Sa So Men (8.5/10) Teriyaki Chicken (8.5/10) Gohan Set (8/10) Ocha (7.5/10)
Makanan enak, harga masih tergolong wajar. Yang perlu diperbaiki mungkin keramahan staff yang melayani perlu ditingkatkan.
Many options for sake, beer or highball amd also options for japanese food that is very rare to find in other japanese restaurant in Jakarta but the food taste is just decent.
This is the place for you to drink with your friends but not a place for you to go if you are hungry and want to eat good food with the same price you pay here.
Their neighbours (restaurants in the same floor) sells better taste of yakitori or sushi even ramen!
The menu is extensive but they run out of a lot of items the later the night becomes (despite being modeled after late night izakaya bars, ironic). The taste & quality of ingredients is good, evident from Yakitori skewers that we managed to order which tasted delicious & juicy.
Service level could be improved by putting a bell on each tables. The way the restaurant is designed offers privacy but it’s hard to flag down the waitresses.
I often went here for dinner with my japanese cowokers and never disapointed even the waiting line is long but still bearable. Today i went theere with my sisters and i never been so dissapointed with the frontliner. I waited for 1hr 40mins (almost 2 hour) for 3 que. CRAZY. The frontliner dont even know if theres any seat available as they’re just standing there and talk with another frontliner/waiters. I remember when i almost get on my nerves i asked again to the same lady and she said “oh maybe 1 person after” then left me bitchily as she’s flirting with the guy who i assume was a manager there. So i decided to finally, ask her again about the estimated time as i alr waited that long just to be seated. And after i said that i might cancel as she cannot give me estimated time and guess what? Again she just laugh and go. I never ever feel so degraded as a customer, tho everytime i went there i never spend as low as 500k. Never know that japanese restaurant can be this bad. Very very dissapointing.
Service is poor like other reviewers stated. Unfair treatment for table allocation and service levels if you’re Japanese or non. Just like Thailand however, management will realize that without local market business won’t survive and biz model will eventually change. Food is good value for price.
I have eaten here more than 5 times, and several times I have noticed, the service of the waiters to local people is very different from the service to other Japanese people. I don't know what the waiters at this restaurant have with local people, but the service they provide is very different. I like this place because it has delicious and perfect food, but the service is very disappointing
The foods taste are very average and overpriced, no social distancing inplace (all tables are filled up and so close to one another) and waitresses were not so polite to non-japanese. For the price, I'd have chosen other izakayas in jakarta.
Feels like you're in Japan! Almost no Indonesian citizen there. The menus are authentic, no pork no lard. Taste were very good, reasonable price. Would love to go back here again.
The place to go when craving for proper kushikatsu like the ones in Japan. It has a a Japanese eatery atmosphere that you wouldn't find easily in Jakarta. It also has an abundance of menus and most of them taste good and authentic. They have special lunch packages which are incredibly filling. Staff have been very friendly.
Ga sempat moto. Sashiminya seger. Little bit expensive tapi totally enak. Wasabinya segar, jarang2 nemu yg seger even di japanese restaurant sekalipun.
The food was great and the service was excellent. The food portion was not big, but then again it isn't a place for dining. It's a place to hangout and talk to each other over some beer or sake. Anyway, I recommend the hanpen. Must try!
The interior was so Japanese. They make minimal lighting in whole restaurant. The taste of the food is not bad. I like the yakitori and grilled fish (forget the name).
Though this Japanese restaurant serves meal with NO PARK nor Lard, but they serves alcohol. It's a bit secluded from outside, once you enter the first thing you see is this bar, both to dine in or to have drinks. There are separators between table perhaps for customers have a bit of privacy. But a bit harder for us to call waitress if we wish to have more orders or have our bills.
The appearance of the meals serves to us are pretty especially for photos. But most of them are too salty. My favorite are beef hamburg (though it seems a bit overcooked) and takoyaki is the best. Sushi are fresh but the taste just so so. If you wish to dine here during lunch hour together with friend, I recommend you to order package menu.
