A good place for trying Vietnamese cuisine. I love the beef pho. Located near Cikini Station, a walkable place to also see the antique stuff.

Suasana nyaman, pelayanan baik, resto dengan menu makanan ala vietnam, saya cobain pho dan nasi goreng rasanya cukup lezat.

I order Pho, beef rice noodles. Expected the taste will be good since this Vietnam restaurant. The taste so so and the noodles was cut so cant use stick.

Service not bad lah ya.

We visit the cali deli. The bahn mi as always awesome. The baguette crispy yet soft. The ambience of the resto slightly remind me of Bali.

Really solid place for well flavored food that's fresh and quickly prepared.

I came here for lunch all the dishes are light and easy to share. They have a smoking area outside and inside in air conditioned. All the tables come with prawn chips which are delicious. We grabbed a couple of bags to take home.

They have lots of tables for about 4 -6 people. The menu has photos of the food and it's exactly what you get so you can use the photos to Guage what you would like. Be aware that they don't speak English but if you show them the Bahasa translation of what you want they get it. Super friendly and helpful staff.

We got the seafood stir fry noodles, grilled beef skewers and fresh spring rolls. We also tried the lychee tea and Vietnamese coffee - everything was delicious.

Would definitely recommend this place for a simple lunch and space to hang out.

Makanannya enak. Roti nya enak dan mie Vietnam nya enak. Hanya cari parkir kemarin Sabtu sore agak susah sampai 2 x muter akhirnya dapat juga.

Servis baik, waitress ramah, makanan enak, ada Musholla. Tetapi, owner (mungkin) membuat mood saya kurang enak karena galak. Ada satu pintu yang tidak boleh diakses oleh pelanggan, tetapi tidak ada keterangannya. Saat saya melewati pintu tersebut, owner (mungkin) marah kepada pegawainya. Owner (mungkin) teriak kepada waitress karena saya melewati pintu tersebut. Padahal, owner bisa menegur dengan baik dan tidak perlu marah. Kenaikan harga cukup signifikan, sebenarnya telah diingatkan dalam cover menu, tetapi saya tidak berekspektasi setinggi itu.

Overall, diluar dari owner (mungkin) yang galak dan harga yang lumayan tinggi, semuanya baik

Pho did not taste like pho. Lack of spices. Grilled lemongrass chicken is standard. Bahn mi is the best they have because of the special bread.

I love this restaurant. It’s open air concept with overhead fans and roof cover plus the decorations add to the ambiance. The couches are comfortable and perfect for chilling and eating. The music is new pop and adds a modern vibe to the experience. The food is tasty, I especially love their banh mi sandwiches, some with a modern taste twist. Vietnamese coffee is always a treat and this place doesn’t miss a beat with it, they even funked it up a bit with some viet coffee mixes with caramel, Milo and other delightful flavours. A very clean restaurant on Surabaya street across from all the antique stores. I would recommend this place to friends for sure. Parking is easy and free.

The food is mid, the ambient is mid.

It's OK for drinking purposes and snacking.

I come here to met friends and talking about our project. After that, we also talk about our life haha. It's about 3 hour we are in Madam Ching. Good place with good menu. You can find coffee to main.course create in good tastes

Salah satu makanan vietnam enak ya disini tempatnya. Harga cukup pricy. Per org kira2 100-150 KIDR. Good!

Tempat nyaman buat makan sama keluarga dan teman, tersedia oitdoor dan indoor. Sebelahan dan connecting dengan Cali Deli dan juga giyanti. Menu makanan vietnam nya beragam dari pho sampai banhmi.

Tempat lumayan bagus, ramai hanya saja parkiran utk mobil gak terlalu banyak jd harus parkir dipinggir jalan.

Went during lunch time in the weekend. It was empty. I was the first customer. PRO TIP is at the bottom!

Parking lot is not really big, but ok. The area is mixed between Madame Ching and Cali Deli. I sat at the Cali Deli area. No AC where I sat. Semi outdoor and nice.

Recommended to order the vietnamese coffee there and BBQ Chicken Banh! The rest is just okay. And quite pricey for what we got. The Banh is worth it though. Will def come again to have the banh.

Cleanliness was okay. They didnt do temperature check. They didnt have hand sanitizer or alcohol to clean the table. The utensils are already at tables and they were wide open in some kind of utensils box.

PRO TIP! Wear long pants if you dont want to get bug bites. I left with 3 bites. Shoes are also recommended, so your feet are safe from bugs.

There are many choices of Vietnamese food signatures here, the taste is right and not too strong

Long established restaurant at menteng. Best place to find Bahn Mi (vietnamese style sandwich). I like their wonton soup and veggie roll also.

Nothing beats a freshly cooked meal and this is especially true with bahn mi and Viet drip coffee. And since there's no dine in during PPKM, we went for a drive (with double masks) and had them as in-car picnic amazing food & coffee, will come back again soon

A good place to hang out, good food, price a bit expensive but still worth. Minus narrow parking lot, you might having difficulties finding the arking space

Chicken grill nya enak, melalui proses marinasi yang sempurna. Porsinya cukup mengenyangkan tapi pas krn disajikan tidak dengan nasi, melainkam dgn french fries. Ambience nya sangat asik untuk nongkrong ataupun membicarakan bisnis. Saran: untuk menyajikan minuman porsi pitcher biar ngobrolnya bisa lebih seru.

The bhan mi is nice. I tried the lemongrass chicken. I also tried the beef pho.its standard and the portion could be a bit bigger. Agak sedikit porsinya. Hehehehehe

THE BEST SANDWICH IN JAKARTA!

I have been here maybe 1/2 dozen times and it is always delicious!

A perfect place to eat after strolling around Antique Alley or Jalan Surabaya, or just a quick taxi ride away from the National Museum.

I always get the Cali Deli Love and my wife always gets the lemongrass chicken - we usually share a piece, as they come cut in thirds, and they’re always delicious! We have also had the spring rolls which are light and refreshing as well.

The iced tea is LARGE and just what you need on a hot day. Service is very good and attentive, as well.
They don’t include service charge so be sure to leave something for the staff!

Mediocre and overpriced. The pho was probably the most average I’ve ever had, certainly inferior to even the lowest plastic-chairs-on-sidewalk street stall anywhere in Vietnam, and even a big step down from some I had in Laos last week.and I was starving when I ate here. I’ve had better in the U. S.for only a dollar or two more made by people who couldn’t find Vietnam on a labeled map of Asia, much less pronounce Pho correctly.

The wontons were 95% dough, and the tiny amount of filling just wasn’t tasty. The dipping sauce was though. Atmosphere is good, seats are extremely comfortable, service is great. It would be a good place to hang out with a group. I wanted so badly to like it, but just can’t in good conscience recommend it even if you’re craving Viet food, like I was. I regret not getting a banh mi and fried chicken instead, they seem like (maybe) they’d be harder to mess up. Feel bad about this review but it’s just my honest opinion. Keep looking

Cali Deli Love for 60 K IDR+

Banh Mi (the Vietnamese word for bread) is more colloquially used to refer to a variety of savoury sandwiches which i find tend to be nicer than most other sandwiches because of the amount of vegetables they usually incorporate. Naturally, the fact that they have that really great combination of crunchy baguette skin with a soft soft center - which soaks up all the juices from both the meat component as well as the pickled vegetables - really allows you to experience so many layers of flavours and textures in every bite.

This rendition is made with soft and juicy black pepper beef which clearly exemplifies the quality of both the basic ingredients as well as the treatment of the ingredients. The beef was soft and juicy, it was well marinated, and it just mixed so deliciously with the rest of the sandwich. The fresh vegetables were great, the pickled ones are amazing, and the sandwich itself is quite sizable - so it really is quite worth it.

Sadly the 45 K+ paradise ice is just okay, but the 50 K+ ice chocolate was great and the cream was also enjoyable although i am not usually a fan of cream, so i did order less of it and i kinda regretted that decision after my first scoop.

All in all, it really was great value for food and the drinks may feel a bit on the expensive side, but some of the drinks are also worth it.

Madame Ching and Cali Deli is two restaurants owned by same person. Located in front of antique shops in Menteng area. Nice ambience with red color dominate the interior. It serves Vietnamese cuisine and some kind of Asian food. The taste is good, we like the variety of sandwich 'banh mi'. Price is average.

Extraordinary restaurant, with a great concept. The taste of the food is 8 from 10. It has manu various menu. This restaurant is suitable for family gathering.

The Vietnamese restaurant next to it, which also belongs to the same group, Cali Deli, was pretty good when I visited it around 10 years ago.

I ordered the Vietnamese Coffee today and it was the weirdest Vietnamese Coffee I’ve ever had in my life. Quite disappointing, considering that they claim the place ‘Hot Vietnamese Sandwiches & Coffee’.

Kind of disappointed in last visit. The banh mi was not served with really fresh ingredients, the bread was baked too long. I should say the quality decline compared to 2-3 years ago

Restoran yg berada di jalan Surabaya, akan tetapi resto ini memiliki lahan parkir yg tidak memadai yaitu hanya muat 6 mobil itu juga memarkirkan mobilnya rapat sekali tdk ada space yg bisa membuka pintu mobil.

Crispy outside, fluffy inside with fresh ingredients.

The portions itself, is considered Good in size and eating 2/3 of bahn mi already make your tummy full.

While there are so many cali deli branches in jakarta. I really enjoyed this branch.

If u want to have good coffee you can go to next door: Giyanti.

I almost forgot.this place is of great for meeting and working as well.

Salah satu restoran buat anda yg ingin makan healthy food di tengah - tengah pusat kota jakarta. Sangat sulit buat nyari makanan sehat apalagi di malam hari. Mungkin anda dapat mencoba berbagai menu salah satunya menu salad yg ada di restoran ini.

Kebetulan saat itu sedang jalan - jala di pusat kota Jakarta daerah Menteng saya mencoba mampir di restoran ini menyantap chiken grill salad, Sayuran yang segar dengan potongan daging ayam really good taste and nutrition, terbilang luamayan juga untuk porsinya. Bukan hanya soal makanan, tempat ini sangat nyaman dan yang pasti harga menu makanannya cukup terjangkau.

Wir haben das BanMi in Vietnam für uns entdeckt. Wir haben es hier in Jakarta wieder gefunden. Einfach sehr gut und lecker. Das Restaurant und der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und schnell und freundlich.

Nice restaurants and cafe vietnam. Madame ching and cali deli are same owner. Sensasi minum kopi vietnam dan makan masakan vietnam.pelayanan juga memuaskan. Tempat seringkali tidak terlalu ramai sehingga enak buat ngbrol santai dengan keluarga atau dengan kolega. Bagi yang merokok bisa menggunakan ruangan outdoor. Ban mie dengan rasa lemon grass dan kopinya menurut saya pilihan tepat untuk menjadi teman ngobrol atau mengerjakan tugas, hehehe. Sitimewa

The beef soup really taste good.pas banget dimakan pas hujan-hujan. Hangat.sayang agak mahal dengan porsi sekecil ituh.

Good place to hang out. One of the best Pho n Bahn in Jakarta. Taste wise. Better than Saigon Delight. (8/10)
