Came here because theres a promotion on the web for cimb niaga but the waiter lied to us about the promotion even provide false information, in the end we cant use the promo when clearly the bank say we can
Im not coming back here again

It was around almost 9pm. Apparently Ootoya last order as we saw they are turning away incoming customers. I odered take away several sushi in the menu. It was bad! The rice was not properly cooked and hard. My bad experience. I thought the mall closes at 10pm.

Coming in 11.30, lots of menu are not available like sashimi, etc they asked to wait till 12.00pm?

I would give this resto 3.5 out of 5. Service was nice, there is nothing much to say abt the ambiance of the restaurant as they keep it simple and ordinary, but clean ofc. The dishes we ordered were this salmon soup set and another set comprised of salted grilled fish, soy sauce meat and vegetable, chawan mushi, miso soup as well as rice. The portion was large and plenty, which was good, but for me the broth of the salmon soup was rather bland and the grilled fish smelled a little bit too fishy, as well as the chawan mushi, it has this really strong whiff. Other than that, all good. Deserve another chance but we'll see

Update: Their latest menu; Chicken Namban, is very delicious. Try to visit before lunchtime on weekdays to get this menu, as it is very popular and sold out fast. And I just tried their Tori Dango Nabe, it was really tasty and I love how chewy yet crispy the dango taste. It was so unique and I don't find this one anywhere else.

One of the Japanese food chain that we love. They make authentic Japanese food, that's why you'll find a lot of Japanese people eating here. We've tried almost every food that they have, at many of their different locations, too. And I can safely say that all of their food are freshly made, carefully served, and taste real yummy.

I love this branch more than others because they have the most complete menu here, including my fave Futomaki, and the crowds here are mostly working people, less kids shouting and running around unless on weekends. The place is more spacious, serene and comfortable as well.

Price was affordable and was wort value of the money, equal to the quality of the food, especially remembering how fresh they are. Service was fast, people were friendly and helpful, place was clean and tidy. Of course, be aware of their peak and closing time to get the best service.

Definitely will visit again soon.

Makanannya enak. Otentik Jepang banget. Terbukti dengan banyaknya Orang Jepang makan di sini. Tapi pelayanannya lama banget. Waiter hanya ada dua, itu juga merangkap kasir

Terrible service and very slow food preparation. Half the items on the menu always out of stock or unavailable. Feels like this place getting ready to close business.

One of our favorite Japanese restaurant, the food is tasty, above average mid level Japanese restaurant, the waitresses are nice, they offer refill drink when it needed and we don't have to ask for it.

Staffs are impolite and should be retrained. They not deserve the service charge imposed by the restaurat

Ambil pesanan take away, sudah konfirmasi apakah sudah semuanya, jawabannya sudah semua, makanan sudah diantar dan ternyata masih ada yg kurang. Harus balik lagi ambil, nggk ada kata2 minta maaf lagi. Saran z ya, harus di ceklis dulu makanan yg akan diserahkan.

Food tasted good, it's just the service isn't that great. Waiting too long for desserts and we asked after 30min, they answered from afar (instead coming to us - the place was quite empty btw) saying "yea wait, it's still on process", I mean.tf.we waited 30+ min for some scoops of ice cream, was it that hard to serve? No apologies for waiting too long from them though or maybe it's normal? Idk

Love this place. Although this place is a bit pricey, but less crowd, so it's quite nice during covid

Excellent food but very bad service.

We were a table of 4 and one of our orders came only after the other 3 were finished. All that after two other side orders never came.

One of best authentic yet affordable Japanese restaurant chain in the town. Serving quite wide range of choice including "home-made" style of food. Taste is rather bland to Indonesian's standard but it's very good somehow. Place is clean, service is good, not too crowded even it's dinner time. Easy access. So, it's recommended.

Itu 2 hal yang terlontar kalo mau makan di sini.
Bisa pilih makanan dengan tipe: set atau ala carte. Set sudah termasuk nasi, sup miso, chawan musi.

Kali ini saya coba salmon grilled nya (lupa nama jepangnya). Rasa gurihnya membuat daging salmon makin nikmat, grilled nya kering di kulit tapi hangat di dagingnya. Tekstur salmon yang orange keputihan nikmat banget. Rasa asinya malah orisinil banget. TOP.
Salmon grilled ini disajikan dengan lobak parut, saya suka rasanya: manis, harum, lembut, basah. Segaarrr.
Chawan musi: puding telur yang disajikan dalam gelas kecil. Saya suka rasanya, di beberapa tempat chawan musinya terasa amis dan membuat mual, tapi tidak di sini. Rasa chawan musinya ringan sekali, gurihnya mantap, rasa asin dan bau telurnya pun tidak berlebihan.

Nuansa di dalam resto: tenang, rapi, terang. Susunan kursinya yang teratur bikin resto terlihat luas.

Ootoya nasinya enak bgt. Beefnya juara. Tp yg lainnya mending cobain tempat lain kecuali kl udh fanatik sm ootoya hehehe

I have no memory how good or how bad this place is. So just average Japanese restaurant for my taste.

Cold soba mereka termasuk enak dibandingkan soba dari restoran Jepang yang setara di Jakarta. Tempura tidak terlalu berminyak. Bahan-bahan yang mereka pakai dalam sajian cenderung segar dan sudah enak tanpa banyak bumbu. Sushi kadang tidak tersedia di jam-jam selepas makan siang, tapi saya rasa, sushi juga bukan andalan di restoran ini. Pesan saja yang lain selain sushi.

This particular franchise holder has been able to maintain the quality of food with the exception for the tofu salad which they seem to use bought silk tofu instead of the original one (as in the picture menu).
