Sumibian

I got a souvenir for about 2000 yen, but it's normal. It's tender, but the meat itself has no flavor. The sauce is also not good. So it's not worth $2000.
I try to appreciate the food itself and the people who make it, but since I came to Jakarta, I haven't been able to eat delicious food, so my comments are unnecessarily harsh.
Too fat tongue is also harmful. My problem is that I can't lie to people who have gone to the trouble of buying it and saying that it's delicious.
I heard that President Joko is also a purveyor, but here in Jakarta, this must be a delicious one.
If I have the chance, I would like to have a freshly baked one at the store and correct this comment.

Their meat quality is superb

One of my favorite is the Cho-Atsugiri Tongue or the Tounge Thick Cut & the Jyo-Karubi.
Their sauces is also amazing, but without that the meat itself is already seasoned perfectly!

I also love the ambiance of their private rooms, with a lovely view of Jakarta.

The only reason i didn’t give a 5 star is because i had an unpleasant encounter with one of the staffs there. If it were not for the food, i wouldn’t be coming back to Sumibian!

Lokasinya sangat dekat dengan kantor, jadi kami ke sana karena kehujanan. Daging enak, tp cukup pricey. Untuk makan di ruang khusus ada minimal order 2 juta. Pelayanannya agak lama.

Korean food made by Japanese restaurant. Food was good and the view from the private room was great.

It is definitely one of the best yakiniku restuarants in Jakarta. They serve high quality fresh cuts of beef, my favorites being the jyo shio tongue and yaki shabu. Portions are small, so the price of an entire meal can get quite expensive.

Had really great meat but also kind of pricey.worth coming back here if it is for a celebration

Great place for quiet business meeting. The staff is attentive. Aircon can be improved as we r seated next to the window. It can get quiet stuffy.

The lunch view is amazing if u r out to impress visitor or your date

By far the worse Japanese restaurant I’ve ever dined at. Not because of the food (which was extremely so-so at best), but because of the poor (downright rude) service.asked a server to show me where the smoking area was, went there, and the next thing I knew, I got yelled (and weirdly, somewhat scolded) by one of the senior servers (judging by the looks of her) for lighting my cigarette there.mind you, I was told that it’s a safe space to smoke by the prev server - which I shared with her.instead of politely asking me to move somewhere else, the (senior) server kept on talking back, tone got higher, and escorted me out of the space (forcefully) to some private room for me to smoke there.she then left without having an ounce of decency to at least say sorry for yelling at a customer.bear in mind, you work in a hospitality/service industry.understand that not everyone is comfortable with the smoke from a cigarette, hence why I asked where the smoking area was - in hopes of not intruding anyone’s space and dining experience.please Sumibian - train your freaking servers.we are a paying customer - we are not dining there for free! That experience sadly (or rather, gladly) marked my first, and quite possibly LAST experience to dine at your restaurant.

A classic japanese food since 90s.but too bad the lunch set is not to attractive anymore both taste and price if we compare other similar japanese resto around.

Sumibian’s food and service quality is stunning! Very distinctive that the place has aprons ready for client/customer usage. Offers bubble gum for children and they just recently renovated the venue, by the way. Definitely on my “Recommended” list!

Comfy place, yummy food, great salad, great service, good for business meetings. The price thou. Expensive but worth it

Very good yakiniku restaurant. Price was a bit high. Price for drinks are reasonable.
Overall experience was very enjoyable. Good view and not so many people are in the restaurant.

Service is not up to its name. Food is slow, 60 mins for scallop dish, hand scalped by hot ocha while serving with no sincere apologies. Basically not worth the price

Excellent.very nice place, and by window seat we could enjoy fantastic view of jakarta and sudirman landscape, food is delicious, especially grilled beef

Old BBQ Restaurant in JKT, it's known as popular restaurant from artist or polititan.
They serve high quality meat and it's amazing they have all you can eat menu using this quality stuff. Honestly expensive than average BBQ resto but you'll be satisfied definitelly.
