Been here multiple times! The service and atmosphere was spot on! The teppanyaki is one of the best in Jakarta! Im a huge foodie but I’ll say their shabu-shabu is average, their tempura as well is mid. But when you come here, the teppanyaki is amazing! Quite pricey but worth it! I recommend the teppanyaki sets

We ordered 3 bentos with unagi and cod fish, turned out the dishes replaced by chicken and salmon.they said they run out of unagi and cod, but just served us with chicken and salmon without even informed us before.amazing experience! We paid for unagi and cod but we got chicken and salmon instead. 770k per bento.not worth it without unagi and cod!

One of Japanese fine dining restaurants in the heart of Jakarta. Located inside a five star hotel: Grand Hyatt Jakarta, you could expect that this restaurant is a real deal

In fact, from the ambiance I could say that they are indeed a five star worthy. Their top notch japanese decorations almost made me forget that I'm in Jakarta

However, as a real foodie myself, their food was average at best (if not below). Most of them tasted bland, they charged premium to serve something that sushi tei (which cost way less) could do twice better

Maybe the place is perfect for business meeting. But not for someone who is craving for the real food

The foods are nice, not too long on serving the foods, but this place is not cheap place for sure. Classy.

The food takes forever to come out. We ordered the Sumire Bento and it takes 1 hour + to come out. Will not come back

Fine japanese teppanyaki with great food quality and service! Love the teppanyaki here… whenever i feel like to have a teppan this is the place where i’d go!

Tidak ada show seperti di teppanyaki tempat lain tapi untuk rasa benar-benar 5 Stars! Kualitas daging, seafood semua terbaik, menu juga simpel.

Servis disini cukup baik ada yang standby trus jadi tidak kesulitan untuk panggil atau minta sesuatu.

Harga cukup mahal tapi untuk di restoran yang berlokasi di Hotel Hyatt Plaza Indonesia rasanya pantas dan worth it, bukan hanya karena tempat yang bagus dan proper tapi kualitas makanan yang diberikan.

Tersedia juga VIP room untuk yang mau private, disini juga harus reserve / book terlebih dahulu jika mau makan di area Teppan nya karena selalu ramai di saat jam makan malam.
Di resto ini tersedia juga area seating biasa (bukan teppan) untuk menu nya juga berbeda dari sushi sampai bento don tersedia.
Tapi saya sendiri selalu makan di area teppan karena sudah menjadi favorit saya.

Came here for team dinner. The food was great, I'd recommend the Sumire bento set & their assorted sashimi.

A bit disappointed with the service though, we came on Thursday night and it's not a full house but it took more than 30 mins until our food arrives. The person that took our orders wasn't really helpful either - many of us were first timers so we asked what he'd recommend but he said everything's good (not wrong, but hey, help us to narrow down the options would you?)

Wagyu was good, sauce more towards sweet

Katsu curry, katsu was perfect, the curry was too thick

Miso is good

Salmon sashimi was so fresh n good!

Place was clean, nice and private, not too crowded.great for family / date.

The noodle was overcooked, so the texture and taste were bad. The vegetable tempura was not crispy and cold.

Fine Japanese restaurant with tasty selection of popular dishes. It was a sumptuous lunch today as we ordered 5 main dishes and there were four of us.

Truly enjoyed the beef teriyaki as it was a mixture of aromatic beef and fresh green peppers, bean sprouts and onion grilled with the sweet tasting teriyaki sauce.

The chicken teriyaki was fantastic, my son loved it. Crispy skin soaked with teriyaki sauce with tender meat on the inside, almost tempted him ordered another one.

Another dish that topped my list was the salmon grill, with butter ponzu sauce, recommended for those who favor salty with a touch of sourness, while the salmon teriyaki is the sweet tasting version.

Also ordered chicken katsu curry, which was also good, crunchy and dry chicken, combined with the thick curry sauce will keep you wanting for more.

Heck, even the miso soup and salad on the side are above average. The meal was also made enjoyable with comfortable setting of warm cored lighting and authentic Japanese ambience

I felt the japanese atmosphere in here, the service is so good.the sashimi hana (moriawase) is so lovely, the maguro, the hamachi and the shrimp is so sweet.the price for the sashimi is quite fair, bit expensive on the ocha but i think its because the place located.i had great time in here.since its plaza indonesia, the car park is bit hard to find

Didn't take a lot of pic this time, but the food is still as good as it can be. Ordered the seafood teppanyaki set, scallops, black cod, onion, asparagus, squid, and lobster! Fried rice and veggie were also delicious. It was quite surprising that the restaurant was really empty, asked the waiter and it was Jakarta birthday! Happy birthday to Jakarta!

Been to many highend Japanese restaurant, surely this one deserves a 5 star review. Especially the Unagi, they serve grade A Unagi. The best in town.

I order Hokaido Beef Teppanyaki Set and all the taste was so good and yummy especially Hokaido Beef, it was very very soft and excelent taste.
I suggest you to make a reservation first when you choose to eat Teppanyaki Set because they only have 2Teppan counter with 2 chef cook in each section but for Sushi/Sashimi/ala carte menu they have some table. Last night the busy section only at Teppanyaki.
The staff was friendly, helpfull and the place was quiet good.
The price for 2 pax was 2.5-3mio, it's expensive but it worth with what you will get.

This high end Japanese restaurant is located inside Grand Hyatt Jakarta. Food is excellent, with very attentive service and have a very nice decor. Of course it is not cheap, but it's still OK.

Just tried the food at teppanyaki table on Saturday lunch 3 weeks ago with my family. The food was great but we were disappointed with the service.
Our first concern is the portion of the fried rice for 2 sets and 4 sets were not significantly different, there were no transparency about how much is the portion for 1 set while we pay exactly for 4 sets. Maybe they can explain us about the portion before putting it on the teppanyaki table to be cooked so we have the same understanding.
Secondly, the old lady servant cleaned our table while we were still eating the food. Maybe she tried to remind us to leave soon since we stayed until 4 pm, but wiping the table while we were eating is very rude. As a premium Japanese restaurant, they should have known how to treat and communicate with customer politely.
Third, the same old lady servant was being impolite to take a peek of what we were discussing. My brother was showing us a video and the lady just joined us watching the video. Again, professionalism should have been their core values in serving any type of customer.
