Zanas Indian Fusion Cuisine

We are visiting Jakarta from abroad and we tried the food from Zanas and it was amazing. The Chilli cheese Naan was so delicious
And the sindhi sel mutton was really tasty. Another plus point was that it was not that oily like most other places and the taste was very authentic. We highly recommend Zanas restaurant and it should definitely be on your must visit places in Jakarta.

Good place if you are looking for indian cuisine, many choices, delicious food, good service. The place is inside the apartment.

We are non Indians. This resto used to be my wife's fav resto years even before pandemi (dine in and GoFood during pandemi) and she always recommends this resto to our friends n family to try Indian food. Even tonight we invited our friends to have dinner here. We are the only table of non Indians. The rest are Indians to give u context.

However tonight we faced unhospitality and a bit racist from the restaurant owner/supervisor. My wife ordered masalah tea and its too thick that she drank a bit of water from her water bottle. Suddenly one staff approach us and told us off that we cannot drink drink from outside, embarrassed us in front of our friends. The owner (person behind the cashier) told her staff to tell us off. When we said to the staff that the other table also has water bottle, why they pick on us not the other table (all Indians) he said it's okay because that table has a child. Later on we see that particular other table also Starbucks (already half empty, I regret not quick enough to take photo) but the owner (the one that behind the cashier) either the waiter did not say anything just because they are Indians. =)

We truly regrets to invite our friends to have dinner here tonight to get such unpleasant and a bit racist treatment. I believe the Staff is only do what he is told to do by the Indian owner/supervisor (or whoever female Indian behind the cashier).

It is surely very good practice to ensure that only INDIAN will get treated with respect and hospitality in here. If you do not believe me, just try it for yourself. Just go to the Indian resto next door, Udupi with better hospitality=)

Pelayan lelakinya kurang ramah terutama kasir perempuan yg gemuk dan berkaca mata tidak sopan sama sekali dalam pelayanan dan bicara

Tried the kebab platter, cheese naan (this was my favorite), and lamb stew (forgot the name). Want to try the hotplate lamb pesenan meja sebelah, wangi banget

If you are not Indian, be ready to face unfriendliness (a bit racist treatment) from the restaurant owner/staff.

The other indian customer bring water bottle or drink starbucks in front of cashier but its okay for the restaurant staff or owner. But if you are not indian, they will approach you and make you feel embarrassed in front of your friends, even though the each party in the table already order the drink. I ordered masala tea and its too thick for me, therefore i drink a bit of water from the water bottle and got told off by the staff (restaurant owner or supervisor told the staff to tell me off).

If you are not Indian, be ready to face different (a bit racist) treatment from the owner or staff (the owner told the staff to told me). I have come to this restaurant 3-4 times even during pandemic and recommend this place and always bring my water bottle, this is my first time experiench such unpleasantness n unfairness (racism) from the restaurant.

I rather go to Udupi, the Indian Restaurant next door tbh.

Very bad hospitality. I went with family it was disappointing. Delivery of food order for soup they made wait for 40 mins and not even worth it

Chicken dum nya berempah, wangi, cukup untuk 2 orang. Cheese nan enak, chicken tikka masala nya gurih. Lemon tea nya asli bukan ekstrak. Recommended! Harga worth it!

An Indian restaurant in Jakarta, had PAWA CURRY with bread. Was a unique dish recommended by a dear elder who accompanied me.

Terletak di dalam condominium. Kalau bingung tanya aja security. Lokasinya berdekatan dengan parkir motor. Tempatnya cukup luas, dengan pechayaan yang nyaman. Makanannya juga enak dan harganya standar. Waiternya juga ramah, jadi kalau 1st time kesini bingung mau makan apa, tanya rekomendasi ke kakak waiter bakalan dibantu. Setelah pesan kita bakalan nunggu kurang lebuh 20 menit. Sambil nunggu kita dikasi cemilan. Dan makanan yang kita order bakalan disajikan pas panas.

Buat yang vegan aman juga, ada beberapa pilihan seperti briyani vegetables atau kebab sayuran.

Ada toilet jg di dalam, dan selama pandemi resto tutup sampai 9.30. Saat masuk suhu dicek juga, ada handsanitizer di depan pintu masuk. Dan juga tempat duduk sesuai protokol.

Vibenya nyaman banget disini, aku makan and ngobrol sampai 5 jam nggak kerasa.

Delicious food with very good attention to detail. This restaurant serves an indian fusion cuisine. For those who don't like typical Indian food but still enjoy the spices, this restaurant also offers a cross between Indonesian, chinese and indian food with dishes such as nasi goreng rendang and nasi goreng gulai, some of their top selling and my personal recommendation. When talking about price, this restaurant is not that expensive. So in conclusion, this restaurant gets a 10/10

Great place to eat authentic Indian food. The fact that it's located in a center of Indian community adds up the experience, particularly at night when the local residents around.

For the food itself, like many Indian food, it is saucy with strong taste. The portion is quite big, so If you come for two, make sure you order just enough. Eat them with perata or naan, guarantee to make your stomach happily full.

Located in one apartment in Kemayoran that has Indians as majority, it chooses best location. Easy to find. Delicious food with good price for Indian restaurant. Not really big space but enough to have a meet with family and friends. There is a space also for live music, I think. Fast service and friendly staff. I love the interior, so interesting, feeling like in India.

Tried so many menus and most of ‘em are tasty.it is always a great experience to get some bites here, the place is decent, clean and well decorated.

I want to appreciate ZANAS restaurant for their generous attitude towards their customers. The quantity of my order sent was way less than usual but when i called zanas, the lady (ibu) there immidiately agreed to send me the same order without charging anything extra. And in no time the order arrived. I would like to say 'thank you soo much zanas' the food also tastes very good especially indo chinese menu is the best

Mencoba dessert2 yang ada di resto ini bisa dibilang luar biasa bagi yg belum pernah coba, terutama dgn lidah jawa pasti cocok dengan gajar halwa extra topping ice cream, mahal iya tapi sebanding dengan rasa

Amazing indian restaurant with an incredibly fast service. We tried Paneer Kadai, Tadka Dahl, rice and mixed Naan. Everything was delicious! A bit tricky to find but it is definitely worth it!

The owner was very accommodating to create a couple dishes vegan for me which were really good, we got takeaway it was fast and reasonably priced.
