Hanya singgah untuk sarapan pagi.letaknya persis sebelum gerbang masuk kawasan bromo dari arah probolinggo.menu makanannya standar, ada nasi dan mie goreng, roti, buah potong, serta kopi teh sirup dan air putih.suasana resto cukup bersih

Great hostel! Basic facilities are all there. Hot shower, good breakfast and very good coffee! Location is close to the entrance to the national park.

Spent 1 night here in June 2023.

Spacious room. Adequate amenities for one night. Pretty cold at night, just make sure you layered up yourself especially preparing for the volcano tour the next day. Complimentary breakfast & the food pretty good. Overall, a pleasant stay & value for money.

Famous for its proximity to Mount Bromo, in fact I visited both the crater of the volcano at sunset (recommended to avoid the crowds of tourists who visit it in the morning) and the visit to the panoramic point to see the sunrise on foot, so book this hotel which is located right at the gates of the volcano park and do the visits on foot (they are not demanding) and avoid spending money on jeeps and organized tours, where you will find yourself with a lot of tourists and you will not enjoy the visit in peace.it also has a restaurant nearby where you can eat reasonably well.

Lava burger is the most disgusting burger I have ever seen. Was waiting for my burger around 30min and it came cold on our table. We asked to make a new warm one and received the same microwaved burger 15minutes later. Bread and fries were soggy and I refused to eat it.

Next to entry point of bromo. But room condition dilapidated. Tile floors made the room colder.

In fact there's nothing special about this place, it's just an average hotel located only a few steps away from the Bromo main entrance. The food was also average. But compared to the other nearby hotels, this one is quite a choice. The best thing of this hotel was the view from my room in the morning was really beautiful, but not all room comes with the view.

Tasteless and expensive.
The food in Cafe lava hostel is just bad. I had Soto ayam and it just tasted like water with an incredibly small portion of rice. The price is over the top with 28k.
We came here due to the good ratings and recommendations, but it's just bad. Inferior to the other restaurants and warungs in the area.

Service is alright and decently fast. Looks clean. Prices are just too high for that kind of food.

This refers to the restaurant. Very expensive (they increased their prices), preferred dishes weren’t available anymore. My boyfriend had a Soto Ayam/ chicken soup, a local dish so they should know how to do that. It tasted completely watery, almost no spices. For 28k! My Nasi campur was even worse. In any other Warung you get double the amount of rice. And the Rendang (as big as a spoon) was like a brick you cannot chew. The satay was half the size of a normal satay. For 35k! And I’m still hungry. Nevertheless, they offer WiFi and it’s warm inside, which is nice since most of the hostels/homestays don’t have a heater. Anyway, this was my first and last meal here! CANNOT recommend.

Cockroach attack! Food is very average. First time in our lives we were attacked by three cockroaches. Do not recommend

The superior room was quite clean, comfortable and the hotel very well located. It has also good breakfast. Recommendable option to visit Bromo.

With the very limited number of restaurant and warung in Cemoro Lawang, Cafe Lava is a good place for basic foods like fried rice / noodle, spaghetti, pancake etc, other than being a hostel which is very near to Mt Bromo. Overall very happy with its service, cleanliness and food quality.

This is a nice place to stay, has beatiful view by the walk for less than 5 minutes, and they have a good bfast as they also provide bread on it

Kapok nginep disini.dikasih kamar type family harganya 1.080.000.tp didepan kamar ada rumah kosong yg udah tua.untuk akses ke kamar pun sangat horor, kami hrs melewati gang sempit kalo malem bikin anak2 ga nyaman krn takut.
Kami menginap dr tgl 30 des 2019 sampai 2 jan 2020.tp tgl 1 jan kami langsung chek out. Dan tiap breakfast disuguhkan hidangan itu2 lg.sampe anak2 bosen. Blom lg adanya masalah soal jeep yg kami sewa untuk melihat sunrise.bener2 menyebalkan dan membuat kami kapok nginep disini!

The restaurant is nothing to wrote home about. The food is one of the worst we had in 3 weeks in Indonesia. Prices are ok. Service is ok as well. They profit and get away with such food only because there are only few restaurants in Cemoro Lawang, but I would definitely recommend to try those first before this one.

Basic amenities but one of the value for money and super near to travel to mount bromo. Food is good but could head out nearby local mom and pop shop for cheaper alternatives

Tempatnya lumayan, kamar juga termasuk bersih walaupun dekat dari gunung bromo.ada wifi dikamar, sepertinya peningkatan karena tadinya hanya di resto&reception saja.saya menginap 2hari menu breakfast sama hanya nasi goreng&mi goreng saja ada toast juga serta omelete dan telur dadar.pelayanan ramah.untuk yang bawa driver ada room jika tidak penuh, dan dikasih breakfast juga jadi tidak terlalu memikirkan nasibnya

Cafe dan juga penginapan semacam Homestay sebelum portal gerbang wisata bromo di cemoro lawang.

Disini parkirnya tidak ada, tapi bisa diparkir di dekat portal tiket masuk kawasan wisata Gunung Bromo.

Dari sini ke bromo cukup dekat, tinggal jalan kaki saja. Begitu pula ke beberapa view point bromo. Cukup strategis lokasinya. Sebagian besar yang menginap disini adalah wisatawan asing

A hostel close to entrance gate of Bromo. Just walk 50 m then you can see the bromo landscape.
Has a nice and charm restaurant with resonable price. Has some nice room from from economy till superior.

Pretty good considering where you are. We had this hotel book through a travel agency and we we’re satisfied. The rooms are a decent size and clean with hot water. The duvets have 4 layers, but there is no heating. The breakfast was ok - fried rice, noodles, toast, jam and some fruits.

Lokasinya dekat dengan puncak melihat Gunung Bromo, Kamarnya standar dan bersih, kamar mandi cukup bersih, dan dapat melihat desanya yang indah dan sejuk. Sarapannya cukup sederhana dan enak, Pelayanannya ramah dan sedia persewaan jip.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for a Bromo tour and it was great. If you are not prepared for the weather you can borrow a jacket for 25000, - at the reception desk. The only con was, that it was really cold in our room, but there are three sheets you can sleep under and slippers for the cold floor. Would go back anyways.

When we came back from the tour we were suprised by the breakfast. All you can eat nasi goreng, fried noodles, plenty of eggs, fruit, coffee&tea.

Nice place. The rooms are spacious, but there is no heating, if that’s something you’re looking for (since it gets pretty cold here at night.) The bed does have a large duvet.

Rooms are not the most modern, and the bathroom could have been a little cleaner but overall it was well maintained. The place is also clean and staff is friendly and helpful.

They have a good restaurant which serves free breakfast to checked in guests every morning. It’s also open 24 hours, and mains start from IDR 40,000 or so.

Many people stay here on the way to Bromo. Since excursion start as early as 3 am in the morning, the hotel will provide a wake up call if you want to.

We had a superior room. Very nice hotel. I would definitely stay again. One star down because there is no heating in the room so it could take a bit cold in the night.

A very nice place on the hill, our room is higher than the rest. We had a stormy rainy night & hit hard by the wind. Luckily we pick this room for the night. Breakfast also good & halal too. We like it very much and surely will come again. Can pay by card so we can save some cash for later

A la carte is good, at least my stake was. The daytime buffet is a bit dull, but still serves its purpose well.

Mau tidur nyenyak pagi-pagi bangun badan seger banget? Cobalah tidur di gunung, salah satu yang terbaik ya Hotel Cafa Lava ini, satu perusaahaan dengan Lava View Lodge Hotel yang viewnya langsung menghadap ke Panorama Bromo, kalo cafe lava ini agak kebawah sedikit tapi masih deket banget dengan panorama bromo. Saya waktu kesana dapat free room karena bawa tamu, untuk kelas free room ya lumayan lah, kamar mandi bareng2 tapi ada banyak, ada 4 dan ada air panas nya, di depan kamar ada taman dan pemandangan pegunungan, toopp dahhh, ada musholla juga,

We weren't guests at the hostel, but we dined here for breakfast once, lunch once and dinner twice in our four day stay in Bromo. As you can imagine, there isn't much else around apart from the odd Warung. It's slightly more pricey but they do western style dishes such as grilled chicken breast, sauteed veg and french fries. That was my go to dish, 45k and delicious.

The buffet breakfast is served between 7am and 9.30am. It's simple with fried noodles, rice, omeletes, fruit and toast. They have tea, coffee and juice available. It's quite steep at 40k a head.

We worked on our laptops one afternoon, it's the only place with half decent WiFi and indoor tables. The staff are friendly and the place has a good vibe.

We booked one night and had an agreement to extend for a 2nd night after the Bromo if we wanted to. But then, when we asked for the extend, they told us there was no more economic room as we had and needed to upgrade to a way more expensive room that we couldn't afford. They didn't want to lower the price more than 10% and the manager was very rude and unprofessional on the phone.
So they made a mistake but we would have been the ones who had to pay more!
Furthermore the room was very tiny and already expensive for what it is. Go to Yog Bromo Homestay instead!
