A restaurant that serves orthodox Japanese cuisine with a Showa feel. It's not as popular as Fishman in Cikang, but it has a calm atmosphere and is frequented by locals. It makes me feel nostalgic, feeling like I'm actually in Japan. Good for drinking or just eating.
Overall, every menu item is delicious. My favorites are futomaki, croquettes, kiss tempura, and vinegared squid.
Authentic Japanese food with great Japanese vibes! The entrance does not look grand or welcoming at all, but once you step inside, you won't regret it! Food taste is good, sashimi is fresh and flavours are all on point. Price is standard for quality Japanese food. Menu is huge too! Friendly and attentive staff, overall a great experience.
Sashimi fresh. The food is all delicious. The location of the store is too old, in Ruco. The okonomiyaki was so bad that they didn't even serve it with katsuobushi.
Freshest sashimi in Surabaya currently. Diverse menu of homecooked Japanese cuisine, upheld by great standards. Though the location feels like it needs a renovation. A little pricey, but well worth your money.
I haven't been here for a long time since the pandemic started, tonight I came to Saga since I missed the food. However, it's so disappointing, the quality of the food have been downgraded a lot. I ordered Kaisen sashimi don n was told that now they don't stock maguro, so it will be replaced by saba, n ama ebi is unavailable, so it will be replaced by ordinary shrimp. Since they replaced the premium sea food with a lower grade one, I asked if they compensate us by lowering the price. But NOOOO, they just kindly downgraded the Kaisen donburi but keep the price the same. Needless to say, next time I'll be visiting another authentic japanese joint
Best. Lokasi kayak masuk komplek pertokoan tapi rasanya otentik banget. Kayak yg biasa dimasak teman2 Jepang. Anak-anak suka rasa masakannya.
Hahaahhaha.
4. Chuka Idako (49k) Baby octopus mentah dengan tekstur chewy nan fresh! Teksturnya sangat nikmat ketika digigit dan masih dingin sehingga memberikan sensasi fresh di mulut! Sausnya manis dan asinnya pas. Ini juga worth to try gaes!
5. Ocha (7k) Minuman terworth it! Super worth it!
Dannnn setelah kenyang dan minta Bill, ternyata kita masih disuguhi buah2an segar yang rasanya maniss! Top quality dah pokoknya makan di sini! Great service and great taste!
Best place to get sushi in Surabaya! The fish is so fresh, you can feel it flapping in your mouth! (LoL) The price is a little bit on the expensive side, but its all worth it. The sashimi is so sweet and didn't feel fishy at all. There are many other menu that I haven't tried yet, and I'm looking forward to coming back here! Very recommended if you like authentic Japanese food!
Food is always good and satisfying, although can be a bit pricey. The thickly sliced sashimi is fresh and "springy", totally worth the price. Authentic japanese cuisine with fresh ingredients. No mayo, moza cheese or creamy mentai sauce here. So for you folks who are more into japanese fusion or pan asian cuisine, this may not be the right place for you
