Harbour Bay Seafood Restaurant

Great service, nice vibe and food honestly tastes great! Just take note that the portions are really small and the seafood is slightly more expensive than other less touristy places. Here’s what we got:
- signature black pepper crab: the peppery zhap was so good we ended up slathering all our other dishes in it! Sadly we only got the 500g crab which was tiny albeit fresh…a bigger one would’ve been much more satisfying!
- signature homemade beancurd! We loved this! The beancurd had a very smooth and thick texture like steamed egg and the plate was overflowing with delicious minced meat
- salt and chili squid: nice but a bit too salty after the first few pieces. Batter was a bit too thick as well
- Long beans with hebi: tasted very healthy but the long beans seemed a bit undercooked
All in all loved the overall vibe. Dishes were hit or miss so just go for their signature ones and it should be fine.

Enquired with the team for a wedding package for 2025 wedding. As we are a group from overseas, we need everything to be aligned with what we require and was ready to book the venue and pay the restaurant in full. To my absolute horror, Viska was not responsive and could not care less to reply my messages. Only giving i will get back to you as a reply and radio silence after.

I am honestly appalled by their service given that they are a pretty well known restaurant in Batam. Just to provide their basic standard package took them 5 days to send. I took the liberty to respond as quick as I can to catch their "very busy manager" who was online in WhatsApp and again no response.

Anyone keen to host wedding here? Don't waste your time and don't bother. Red flags right even before we signed contract with restaurant.

Great seafood restaurant with open space and view to the sea.
The foods were nice and professionally served. They also provide live music to add the nice atmosphere.
Happy to visit and recommend it to friends.

It fell good that after all that time the ppl still knew me, the food is still delicious, perfect service! Still the best!

Downtown yang sangat strategis di Batam, Mall, Hotel, Convention, Cullinary dan penyeberangan ke Singapore

Restoran tepi pantai baru kelas premium di harbour bay yang cukup representative, mirip dengan area Clarke Quay Singapura, dengan akses pedestrian walk yang cukup indah di malam hari. Tersedia organ tunggal untuk live music dengan penyanyi atau pun untuk unjuk suara pengunjuk. Menu cukup lezat dengan seafood dan menu khas batam lainnya

Crab dishes are pricey. Lobster is ok, the price was ok but I don't think it's delicious. Drinks here are good, I ordered a fresh coconut and a durian juice and that were all good. The view was good. Service is also good too.

Lokasinya mudah di cari, dekat dembaga penyebrangan Batam ke Singapura. Berada tepat dipinggir laut. Pemandangannya bagus, bisa liat kapal2 yg hilir mudik Batam Singapur dan sekitarnya. Buka dari siang sampai malam. Kalo hujan agak repot ni. Porsi lokasi duduknya 70% di luar. Sisanya di dalam ruangan. Cita rasa masakan sangat enak. Aneka masakannya pun lumayan banyak. Yg suka Seafood akan termanjakan makan disini. Makan disini minimal ber 3 baru mengasyikan. Apalagi bawa keluarga atau rombongan.

Pretty overpriced for the regular seafood fare. Its brand new and next to the water so you pay for the ambience. Compared to SG still super cheap including beers

Aneka menu sea food lengkap tersedia. Ikan steam kerapunya sangat layak dicoba, bagi yg belum pernah.krn dagingnya yg lembut. Suasana pemandangan tepi laut nan sepoi2, cukup nyaman utk berbincang santai dengan keluarga atau rekan bisnis. Sesekali deru mesin pancung/boat hingar terdengar.

Hotel pilihan yang bagus karena lokasinya yang dekat dengan area permainan dan tempat wisata lainnya.

They have moved to the newer, cleaner location on the Promenade together with other eateries like Wey Wey. Not as good as Wey Wey in my opinion. Good enough, cheap enough, ultimately will go to Wey Wey if I'm at Harbour Bay area.

It's been relocated bit away from previous premise and yet with better view of sea harbour. Lots of menu variation, the most favourite dish is cumi goreang cabe garam (fried calamari with chili and salt topping). There's live music as well. Seafood was fresh and tasty. The price is reasonable as other seafood restaurants/kelong (s) in Batam (est.around 300k/2 persons).

Wah tempat makan ini enak sekaliii. Tempatnya juga bagus dan romatis cocok banget buat kamu yang mau candle light dinner bersama pasangan di hari istimewa dengan menikmati suasana pantai di Batam

One of the best seafood restaurant that I have visited. Cheap, good service and fresh seafood. Restaurant is clean and new. I will always have my dinner there if I visit batam again. Wonderful.

Salah satu restoran seafood yg paling endol di Batam, harganya juga terjangkau. Berada di sisi laut batu ampar menjadi daya tarik dan nilai tambah untuk mencari suasana yg sangat fress, cocok bersama keluarga

One of the best seafood restaurant in Batam. The price is a bit high. But it comply with the quality of the food and place.

Great ambience. New outlet due to their recent move, just across the street. Very nice environment with pretty decorations. Foods are normal

Have eaten twice here. Food is consistently good and reasonable. Nice al fresco ambience.

Update - restaurant has moved. New place is better. Has a small aircon area. Not the cheapest (our meal - pictured - was $50), but service and ambience made up for it.

I can't fault the food. I really enjoy it here. The new location is a bit smaller but as always, decent place for amazing seafood and al fresco dining.

Biggest issue facing this business is the taxi mafia. Cannot order Grab, Gojek or Bluebird to this location. What's worse is that the local taxis go home at 10pm.

Harbour Bay loses four stars on an otherwise perfect review for not being able to call a taxi and for telling me that my only option to get home is to walk through a dark and dangerous and muddy construction area to get a taxi. (Which I did, very reluctantly.)

That's not customer service!

Although the old location used to be a perennial favourite and a reason to visit Batam, I will likely look at other options for seafood dining next time I come.

Decent food, quite pricey. A brilliant range of fresh crabs, lobsters. I got the drunken prawns, not bad (very authentic), tastes were not exactly to my palate but still good quality so I can't rate it badly.

If you're looking to eat crab/lobster make sure you take a few million.

Dulu restoran ini enak dan bagus banget suasananya. Setelah renovasi jadi biasa saja, apalagi makanannya juga standar.

The food is simply average. The other seafood restaurants nearby are much better. Their location gives you lots of privacy though.

Better eat with your friends/ family, because their portions (almost all of them) were big, enough for (minimum) 2-3 people if you order 2 type of foods (exclude the). They can serve halal food, ask their waiter/waitress. In the evening to night time you can hear live music (sometimes) and feel the breeze of the sea.
