Tapi sejak pertama kali kesini, langsung suka sama rasa masakannya. Enak. Dan sepertinya lebih murah dibanding tempat lain.
We went to this place with the guidance of review to get the local kind of cooking style. Nobody was there except us, so it's pretty quite with beautiful view there to relax.
This place is located next to Love Seafood. Once you see the Love Seafood on left side, you just take the right side then turn left to the slope path and you can see the banner is on the right side.
We ordered cumi hitam (after reading some recommendation from another reviewer), udang mentega, ca kalian, kakap bakar, 1 kelapa muda, 1 rice. They served watermelon not as complimentary but you need to pay.
The plastic plate didn't look that proper, dirty and the oily food quite shocked us.
All was oily. I said ALL. The taste of the cumi was tasty and too salty (which made us need to get more rice to balance the taste), udang mentega still with the shell and pretty hard to peel it because it's sticky so apparently we need to eat till the shell part. And the ca kailan oh, did I order oil kailan or ca kailan which mean only stir fried with less oil?
It seems they use 1 cup of oil each of meal, like crazy!
I couldn't eat the food freely after seeing all the unappetizing and oily food, but I didn't mind with the view. My got unstopabble diarrhea (black feses) like 5x per day the very next day in 3 days row.
We definitely never come back to this place anymore. Ever!
Sea foods yang berada di Tanjung piayu terletak persis di pinggir pantai.daging ikan.dan lainya segar segar.dapat memilih. Harga lebih murah, rasa tifak kalah dengan tempat lain.
This place offers an amazing array of seafood, from reef fishes to the pelagic one, fried or grilled, from cuttlefishes to mussels, prawns to sea snails, very diverse option to fulfill our appetize. They also have some different spices for one seafood, like the squid, I orderd the original deep-fried one, the sweet-sour one, and the one with yellow spices I didn't really catch the name of. Good for groups, located at the edge of the Batam Islands, you can see the blue sea bordering the lush green mangrove area that clean and very photographic. Oh, in case you didn't know, kelong is a traditional Batamese floating house. So you're literally eating above the sea in this place.
Nice ambience and food is nice but one of my committee members' leg went thru one of the planks. Luckily he only had some scratches. They need to check the planks to ensure customers' safety.
One of best taste for seafood especially spicy Rajungan (crab), have side view to ocean and small island, this place made by wood construction, close to fisherman village. If you have time, you may try it.
