Would suggest only the fried fish, prawns and fish soups. The other fried fritters are purely flour mixed. See photos for comparisons. Super crowded during lunch time. Not for the faint of heart to eat here if you like aircon and super clean tables.
Bustling food court.came here for the fish soup, fried fish and fried prawns.waiting time is super short and yet all dishes were cooked to perfection.the fried prawn/fish pancakes from another stalls are good and crispy like eating keropok.all are very affordable and definitely will go back for the fish and prawns again!
If you come to Batam, remember to try this fish soup place. Typical local style setting with seafood lying on the table for you to chose. Do order the fish soup, fish soup with taro, fried prawn, fried mackerel fish was the highlight! There are some nearby stall to sell otak but can ignore as so so.there’s corner stall sell fried smelly bean with prawn.expensive but tasty. The food we had about S$80.do come before 2pm as they opens from 6-2pm … yummy!
This is where the locals hang out to lim kopi and chats. Order the bak kut teh and pig stomach soup for lunch. Unique taste, with some hint of herb in the soup. And they have pig blood.
Tasty, famous for fish head dish, deep fried fish and prawn, popular with locals, you may experience longer waiting time during lunch especially at weekends
Best fish soup in Batam. Kuah kaldunya begitu nikmat. Ikannya fresh dan nikmat. Ikan goreng dan udang goreng, luar biasa! Hands down. Gurih, garing, nikmat. Must try!
Foodcourt with Non-Halal Food The place is comfortable with lots of tables and chairs. There are a lot of kinds of cuisine. The price is affordable. I ate Mie Pangsit Jumbo (27 k) with Cold Tea (5.5 k).
This place is actually a good court housed inside a coffee house, alot of local favourites can be purchased here also the prices have risen through the years due to a large influx of tourist
Great place to eat, offers a decent fish soup, great fried fish and prawn, good laksa and lo mie. Overall a good place to look for different types of food if youre a local tourist (from Java like me)
You can have very popular small fish dishes, like fish soup or fish fried, it's a bit difficult to find a place to sit sometimes so do avoid lunch crowd.
This place is so popular that u need to wait for your seat! It's a kopitiam style eatery with a few stalls selling a variety of food. We have tried the claypot soup with mixed pig's organ and bak kut. The fish soup is super tasty too! U must give this kopitiam a try if u are in BCS mall area. Food is cheap and good!
2×Fish soup with yam, the yam is too soft. 2×assam fish, assam curry too diluted. 2x fried fish. 2xfried prawns. Fish & prawns are fresh. Overall so so. 8 pass about S$100.
Tempat makannya selalu ramai, sangat padat hingga antri untuk dapat tempat makan. Makanan dan minumannya enak. Cukup banyak tenant nya, sehingga bisa banyak pilihan.
My personal favourite breakfast area for fresh Teochew style fish soup & seafood in Batam as the BCS mall & the Grand Batam mall are just nearby. The other seafood recommendations are the fried fish/prawns, the Assam fish & taro fish porridge. Highly recommended!
When looking for clear fish soup, I always remember this place. To me still the best in town. Despite some people may like Yongkee or Windors', I still can't change my preference. Besides clear soup, you may able to order fish with yam soup, or hot & sour or even only to fry it. Got prawn and other choices. To note, this foodcourt will be hot to the max at peak time (Lunch). You may have to come early to get seats as well and probably to gets nothing if come later than 2 pm. Well if happen so, no worries because there are few more choices at that foodcourt, noodles, BKT (pork), sate mie, and so on.
