Enjoyed Excellent experience here. Good food Good service. Surprised with this delicious dish

Had the Club Sandwich (Rp 215,000) and the Wagyu Burger (Rp 255,000) which were okay, but a tad overpriced. The burger patty was also slightly dry. The dessert, Sago Malacca (Rp 85,500) was amazing though, it had interesting textures and was a great finish to our meal, a definite must try when you're here!

There is a good view of the sunset and service is good, but we only have drinks and meet up with customers. (Also the music is good)

The size of the portions here are ridiculously small considering that the dishes here are pricey.

Ordered fish and chips (idr 225,000/ sgd 20) which is supposedly a ‘Main’ on their menu and it was literally a fish tender size.

The montigo ayam panggang (idr 285,000/ sgd 25) is also a main. But the chicken was so small and they only gave 2 pieces.

The coconut was idr 100,000/ sgd 9 but it was so bland and bitter.

Wasn’t even full after this meal. Giving it only 2 stars because the food tasted okay, just that the portion was way too small for the price. I expected more from a 5 star hotel.

If ever you're vacationing at Montigo Resorts, Batam, I would strongly recommend that you head to Tadd's Restaurant to try their Rijsttafel set. This is the traditional compendium of Indonesian meal with the full works of Indonesia mixed vegetables, spicy tiger prawns, soya-chilli squid lime, grilled fillet snapper pesisir, chicken opor kuning, beef demur served with yellow or white rice. The portion is big enough for 2-3 persons (depending on how big an eater you are). Remember to ask for sambal as it goes very well with the food. My best meal during my stay at Montigo Resorts.

TADD’S BREAKFAST. Breakfast at “Tadd’s” lots lots of buffet style breakfast selections. And literally lots of selections for you to choose from “LOTS”. (Buffet breakfast, however lunch and dinner will be ala cart)

Resort’s guest do get complimentary Breakfast by quoting your villa number.

Before checking in as a resort’s guest due to my early arrival. You will require to pay to dine 200,000+ per pax

Food is good, especially the local stuff. But really overpriced, so expect to pay more. Each meal comes with free "chips" (fried crackers)

Breakfast included for montigo resort. Relatively wide spread of dishes. Mostly Indonesian food. Am not a local but love Asian food and it was a hit and miss on some dishes. Coffee was average. They have juices available and if you are lucky you might catch a chef's special where they whip up something yum.

Overpriced. Not advisable to bring children to eat, most dishes are spicy. Food taste below average. Spent SGD168 for 4 pax, not worth it at all.

Must-go for breakfast. Quality, variety (spread), service are acceptable. Not top-notch, but acceptable for the price you're paying. Skip lunch and dinner because.prices are ridiculously exorbitant then. We paid 962,000 rupiah for 2 mains, 1 starter, and 3 drinks.

Paid SGD50 for these all lousy food. All their buffet food are cold, salty. Only nice thing is their watermelon are sweet. Drinks need to pay extra. Breakfast plain porridge is COLD! This is the first time I had cold porridge in my life. I went with 3 female friends, 2 of us got diarrhoea after this and 2 of us got food poisoning! So after come back to sg still need to pay another SGD60 to see doctor! WONT GO BACK AGAIN!

Had breakfast at Tadd's. Overall variety is ok. But I esp find the egg station interesting with so many styles of cooking eggs.

Very nice food. Although you can go for the buffet, I will suggest if possible go for the alacarte as well

Overall the food is a little bit cheaper than a meal in a resturaunt depending on where you live, The taste of the food is amazing and while your eating you can enjoy this magnificent view of the ocean depending on where you sit. They have quite a few food options of which you can pick from such as western or their cultural food, the walk from your room to this place depending on where your staying can be fairly long or fairly short. Overall this place is a great place to dine as the staff are friendly and the food comes on pretty fast and I would definitely eat there again.

They have very few veg menu but they specially arranged veg food for us in Breakfast and Dinner.
For dinner they offered us vegetable lasagna
And vegetables curry with prata.

For 2 people it was good in quantity.

In breakfast they served us veg nasi goreng (fried rice) and mee goreng (fried noodles)

Ambience was good, facing the sea.
Restaurant is clean & has a nice decor.
However, food was mediocre for the 5-star price you pay.
The food flavour and portion could be improved.

Staff are friendly. Food is so so only. Earl grey tea has no bergamot fragrance. Gado gado is salty. Nasi goreng is exceptionally spicy. Red snapper fillet is fishy and hard. Resort pricing. 5 pax about usd90 plus. Taste-wise so so only. Need to speak slowly if speaking English, although the command of language is ok.

Tried the Seafood Platter and Wagyu Beef Burger.the platter taste good.the beef burger slightly lack seasoning.

Complimentary for all guests staying at the resort. It was quite a spread, with Indian cuisine, traditional Malay cuisine, western cuisine and even a kids corner! The food was okay though, nothing especially catchy.
For egg lovers, there’s an egg counter

Dinner
Had dinner on my first night there and the portion was relatively small. Quite disappointing for the price and it wasn’t exactly the best too.

They do serve lunch as well but we hadn’t need to visit for all 3 meals as there’s other restaurants around. That said, all the food provided for in room service are prepared by this restaurant I believe.

The ambience of the restaurant is decent as it is right by the sea with the “jetty” right in view. Certainly is a relaxing place to enjoy your dinner.

Overall I had a good breakfast even though the variety is not that wide. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is packed usually on weekends during the buffet breakfast timing.

Tasty, yummy, delicious. Good quality and fresh various of menus from local Indonesian, South East asian menus also western foods. Spicy, salty, sweet dessert also serve well. Clean restaurant, nice view of swimming pool and sea view. Nice and friendly staff.

We had our family iftar at this restaurant.it's quite a cozy place with great ambiance, the food is great but there's still room for improvements.the only downside is this place is quite a long drive from city center.

Stayed at the villa so this was morning breakfast for me. Nothing surprising about this place but was very happy about it

Food is nothing to shout about. Their western dishes are better than the Asian / local dishes. The Grilled Jumbo Prawn with Angel Hair pasta was nice but the Rib Eye was a bit tough and had tendons in it. However the atmosphere is great and service is good.

Came here with my mum in the afternoon to catch some lunch as we were staying at Batam View Resort. Felt that once the waiter noted we weren't staying in at Montigo, the attitude had a 180 degree change.

The food came very slow especially with only 2/3 tables of people in the entire place. Food was alright but not the best compared to other hotels and resorts my mother and I dined in when we are in Batam/Nongsa.

I have to highlight this waiter, named Dasi, which suppose to clear my bill. I called for the bill and she noted that but after clearing the dishes, she was at the side using her cellphone. It was a pity my cellphone had died else I would have capture photo of her as proof. That being said, I had to highlight to another staff to clear the bill.

Service is definitely not at its best and food is a little overrated. Will I come back again? Maybe if I need to. Not that I want to but around the area had barely any places to eat and GoJek doesn't have any nearby restaurants that sends food in.

We shall start with breakfast! The breakfast buffet spread was AWESOME! Many bread/bread pastries spread on the buffet table! Couldn’t resist it and took quite a few to try! There were hot food and live stations too such as porridge, sausages, hash browns, fried eggs/omelet, nasi lemak, fried noodles and roti prata! There were juices and cereals too! Had such a hearty and fulfilling breakfast! The view was great too!

Dinner was pretty quiet maybe cause we were one of the first few who sat down. We missed the sunset there as we were chilling at our plunge pool during the sunset! Bet the sunset view at Tadd’s would be excellent! The food was pretty expensive for Batam standard but the portions was quite big. The price is comparative to Singapore prices. Vegetarian options for dinner is quite limited and the curry vegetables we order was quite spicy as we can’t take spicy but over all the food was quite good! The non-vegetarian options tasted pretty good! The ambience at night was nice and quite unlike in the morning it’s so busy! Do noted they do not serve free water and you have to pay for bottled water. Service was good too!
