Breakfast was awesome. Location is great! Quiet and peaceful. It will be good to have a small minimart selling snacks and drinks! Sultan room is huge and spacious with built in jacuzzi at the corner. Swimming pool is slightly deep, should have a sign starting it's depth. There are 3 swimming pool around the resort. Spa is the best. Very relaxing. Highly recommended the Bali massage and the Hot Compressed treatment. Anyway, they have loads of treatment and massage styles to offer too. Staffs are polite, helpful and they speak good English! The place will give you the Bali Vibes!
Will definitely come again!

I have been going to this spa for years. Returned back twice in 2023. Even after years of Covid without the usual volume of customers, the place is kept in good condition and the people and level of service continues to impress. Keep up the good work!

Had a lovely spacation with my girlfriend during our 2 days 1 night stay.
Being in the resort was like being in Bali. The ambience was relaxing and peaceful. The room was ckean and comfortable. Love the bath amenities, they were the same as those from the spa.
The Balinese massage, followed by the hot stone compresed using the same strokes were wonderful, followed by the body scrub using the same strokes too. We felt very relaxed and renewed after the 3 hours spa session.
We enjoyed the local nasi campur and beef rendang with rice for dinner. They were delicious. While the lychee cocktail was refreshing it was a tad sour with too much lime, which overwhelmed the lychee taste.
Breakfast was yummy we shared an american and local breakfast of mee goreng, served with coffee and local fruits.
All the staff were very helpful and friendly, from the pick up at the airport check in, at the spa and restaurant.
We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay and hope to be back soon.
Just a little note: As the resort have different levels accessible by stairs. It will be nice if the staff from the spa who fetches us from the room, slow down a little as they lead the guest/s to the spa venue. We were ok with the stairs but for the older guests it may be quite challenging as there are no railings to hold onto.

From the rooms to the food, and even the spa, the service, everything blew my mind away… their service and attention to details are top notch! The rooms were really clean. Sheets and kimono smelled really good. The spa was relaxing. Every single staff was as polite and the service they provided were beyond 5 stars.

I took a 6h day spa. The massage and treatments were well-planned. The whole process was very relaxing, calming to my soul and mind. The staff are friendly and approachable. I will definitely sign up for more. Thank you so much to all at Tempat Senang!

A beautiful and quaint property with Balinese vibes. Booked an overnight stay with 3 hours spa plus 3 hours spa top-up (6hours in total) as a retreat for my husband. Though costly for what’s usually perceived for Batam, we found it value-for-money and worthwhile as a short trip:

1) there’s a full suite of spa treatments to choose from and services were adequate. However, my husband had a bad case of rash after the facial treatment, thus, facials are only recommended if your skin is not sensitive.
2) you get to fully relax and unwind as the premise is catered for adults only (sans kids is a great idea - how can one truly chill and recover in the company of screaming, demanding kiddos?). Good on Tempat Senang for this policy, and for that we will definitely return.
3) pick-up and drop-off services from ferry terminal were prompt, check-in at the reception was seamless. We were served welcome drinks.
4) rooms were clean, albeit our suite (Borneo) being a bit dim (call it mood lighting!)
5) service with a smile - staff were genuinely warm and friendly, and they checked in often with us to ensure we were comfortable.
6) breakfast and lunch were adequate and tasty.
7) not property-related, but Grab/Gojek to malls and places of interests was hassle-free and cheap!

All in all, based on the proximity to SG and services rendered, we would recommend giving Tempat Senang a visit with your other half or a group of girlfriends seeking to unwind from pesky kids/irritating spouses/hustle & bustle from work. Thank you TS team for making our stay enjoyable!

It’s been 6 years since my visit and I haven’t had another experience like this. EVERYTHING was perfect! The food, accommodations, and service was top notch. Dreaming of another opportunity to return.

Made it finally to Restorative Retreat- Tempat Senang after 3 long years; when I made a MAD dash in Feb 2020, sensing it could be my last visit for a while.

Grateful I followed my instincts and had the privilege-Tempat Senang and staff all to myself-a very unprecedented and unforgettable experience!

Fast forward to 2023 and here I was again-the warmest of welcomes from lovely Euis who was a step ahead every moment communicating before arrival to welcoming me back to the lush sanctuary.
Everyone made effort with smiles and assistance from Ali and Anna who went the extra mile to make my visit comfortable and compliments to the chef for the extensive and quality menu!

If you need a quick getaway or respite to start the new year without distractions or hassle, plus safety assured you will meet a kind and outstanding gentleman at Sekupang ferry port and driven- within minutes you will be free to relax and enjoy at this little gem of paradise!

Hesitant to leave after 2 relaxing days, I made another MAD dash off-peak to the Sekupang ferry port with my familiar and reliable escort again! Thanked him, Bounded up the escalator, nabbed my return ticket on the spot, and boarded the ferry all in 5 minutes!

We love this spa. We just came back from an overnight stay package with 6 treatments. Our third visit over the years, and the first in a long time due to Covid. It hasn’t changed.still beautifully landscaped with friendly staff, expert therapists and delicious food. All of the treatments are amazing but the hair treatment is a stand out. We are so pleased that it survived Covid and that business seems to be thriving again. We will be back. I also just found out that it means “happy place” in Bahasa! How fitting

Just got back from a weekend at Tempat Senang with a group of girlfriends. It was my third visit there. One of my girlfriends has mobility issues and the staff exceeded all expectations in the help they extended to us and in how they anticipated our needs. Nicole was a wonderful host as well and checked in on us from time to time. We enjoyed the spa services very much and the chocolate chiffon cake we ordered for the birthday celebration was the best chiffon cake I ever had. I also love that every room there is different and full of character. Thank you Tempat Senang for a lovely weekend!

Tempat senang is the perfect place if you want to rejuvenate and relax. Their staff is super friendly and professional, and they really take good care of you. The spa services are world class and the property is cozy and serene.

We just returned from a wonderful weekend at Tempat Senang. I took a friend to celebrate her birthday and every aspect from the transfers, the spa, the room, the restaurant and the service was warm, kind, efficient and friendly. It was an absolute pleasure to be there and we felt like very special guests. I had some extra requests like an additional spa for the Sunday, a late checkout and a birthday cake for my friend that was handled perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for either a day spa or longer stay.

We stayed there for a few days and the staff was lovely, the food was absolutely excellent and the time there throughout enjoyable! We tried various massage and beauty treatments which were all immaculate! Highly recommended for a couple of relaxing days away from the hustle and bustle of Singapore.

Pro tip: you can use Grab to move around, even to get picked up from the hotel as it works throughout the island.

Second time here since 3 years ago!
Our driver was punctual to pick us up from Batam Centre Ferry Terminal and the ride was smooth and safe.
The resort was as well maintained as I remembered from the last time. Kudos for that as I'm sure the resort had taken a hit from COVID restrictions.
Therapists were courteous and skilled. I thoroughly enjoyed my facial, pedicure, hair spa, massages, and hot herbal compress.
Lunch was included, and delicious!
Note: do factor in the evening traffic jam when on the way back to the ferry terminal. Megamall is right opposite, worth exploring and has a few eateries.

Relaxing spa and retreat on the western side of the island. Indulge your self in the pools, spa treatments and tranquility.

The resort is literally on the Indah Puri golf course, together a perfect weekend escape.

Its the best spa and restaurant in batam, the staff very friendly and helpfull, very nice view.its a recommended place to go to enjoy and relax your self.

Beautiful, with lush vegetation and a mix of old and new Indonesian architecture, relaxing, delicious food, nice massage, "hair treatment" was code for a head massage.would love to go back.

A while since I stayed but a unique experience. Comfortable accommodation in a quiet forest location. More like a guest house with large suites. Friendly service and a small kitchen. Attractive garden swimming pool.

This place is amazing, as are all of the staff. A peaceful oasis with beautiful rooms, excellent spa and fantastic food you cannot come away without feeling relaxed, refreshed and content. Highly recommended

I booked the full-day spa and overnight stay package and it was an amazing experience! The service was great and all the staff are friendly and helpful towards a solo guest like myself. The spa treatments were wonderful and the food was delicious. Room and facilities were clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Tempat Senang for a short getaway to enjoy yourself!

Best spa treatments I have had. We had booked the full day spa treatments which includes 6 hours of absolute bliss; massages, body wraps, hair spas, foot spas etc. The rooms are beautiful and amenities very good. It is possible to buy most products they use for treatments from the spa shop by the reception. All staff are very friendly and always there to assist no matter how big or small your request. Loved it and will definitely go back.

Cute place next to Golf Course and 10mins drive from Ferry. Massage was good, food was good and staff super friendly. Overall absolutely worth a visit.

This was our 2nd time back in Tempat Senang and it was the same great experience last year we went. Resort had all the great little touches and attention to detail that makes it awesome and really special. The room we had was as exactly as how it was described in the website. The food was amazing (a good selection of western and Asian food) and service always with a smile. It's a great little resort haven in Batam and only a 10 min drive from the ferry terminal. We would definitely be back and already planning for the next trip.

Just came home from a daytrip to Tempat Senang with hubby and we had an amazing time! True that it has a rustic feel and a bit outdated. Worth the $240 a person. You get two 1-hr massages, and choices of other treatments such as ear candling (my first time!), pedicures, facials, body scrubs/wraps etc. The food at lunch was great too and we are total foodies. We found them to be quite attentive and organized. The travel from Singapore by ferry was very easy too. It was $50/person which I think is abit overpriced but probably because the ferries are not full. Anyways $300 for a nice relaxing daytrip - we were more than satisfied and happy.

Dennis is the best! The service is amazing and we were treated like royalty! The place looks amazing and everywhere you look is stunning. The treatments were top notch and well priced.

Tranquil location. Rooms are exactly as show on website, amazing deco, the owners really put in a lot of work here. 10/10 star service & spa treatment. Food was excellent (im super picky kinda person). Did not see any spiders. Plenty of cute gekos.
Only con was that the pool was small - i dnt like swimming so that was fine for me. A bit pricey but still affordable (compare to hk living standard, but i guess its cheap when compared to SG).

Nxt time when i visit SG again i would defo go again for a 6 hrs spa
