Food was great but not fantastic and please don’t compare with SG standard.total spending $79 with 20% discount from the boss. Will come back again next time
A warm place that bring you dishes that is taste home made. Do take note, it will be best to speak and understand a bit of Bahasa melayu/Indonesian as the staffs are not versed with English/mandarin. Food are more on savoury part.best to eat with rice. Prices are quite reasonable except for those seasonal food with market price.
Very good chinese food here! - fried tofu with cai por - must eat - sweet sour fish - must eat - kai lan - dong por meat - pineapple curry squid - salted egg chicken - must eat - seaweed soup They have 2nd level seatings as well. Recommended!
Like all the foods here especially the fish maw chicken soup, roast duck, pork knuckle n the vegetables. The fried mee sua serving was too big as all of them had rice except me, plus I had asked for a 1 person portion.
We had an enjoyable dinner at this family restaurant last night. It was a last minute booking after searching online for our group of 12. The lady owner was amicable and made our dinner very pleasant. Dinner was served fast and tasted good. It was also my mother-in-law’s birthday and lady owner readily gave us 20% discount off our meal! We order 13 dishes (include 2 types of fish) and drinks. Bill was about sgd130, good price for pax of 12.
The food was ok but not fantastic. Out of the dishes that I ordered, the Assam fish was the best out of the crop. The dong po rou, the chicken skin and the chai po tofu was so so only.
This is a two storey with air-conditioned restaurant serving cooked Chinese cuisine at Nagoya. We ordered Assam fish, chai po tofu (preserved radish), two styled Kailan and dong po pork meat. All the dishes were good and delicious. Service is good and attentive, and it is very comfortable dining in. We came during dinner time and the restaurant was full house, and the boss asked whether did we book in advance? Luckily, we got a table after that. So you may need to book in advance as this is a very popular Chinese restaurant with both locals and tourists. The price is also very reasonable. Highly recommended!
Food taste so so to us. Their signature roast duck was very dry and didnt taste good. Petai just normal and actually we requested not to fried with chilli but look at the picture here. When we asked why there is chilli and he said it's not spicy (in fact it tasted spicy). In the end they gave us a 20% discount in the bill.
Pleasant dinner experience for my families of 9 gathering dinner. Food portion is not big so recommend to go for all medium portion for big families gathering like mine.
