My kids 14 and 12 years attended 3 lessons. They had lots of fun and we felt that they were in safe hands. The team is very friendly and they offered free transfers to our hotel which was near the beach.

Aqia is the perfect place to surf! Very nice and relaxed people, good beach and good food:) They offer a lot of options if you want to learn how to surf or if you are more advanced already. Would recommend to everyone to go here and spent part of your holiday at Aqia.

Easy going (walk in) surf school with an amazing team and a good spirit! We progressed from "baby waves" to small open water waves in one week. If you visit Selong Belanak-Beach go straight to Aqia-Surf.

First time Surfing and it was awesome. Had some really cool dudes teaching me how to surf and i feel like i got the hang out of it in that short period of time so definitely would recommend. Just some really nice people!

Situated on a beach great for beginners, Aqia surf shop is run by a really nice group of guys, all of whom are very helpful and knowledgable teachers. I would recommend this place for anyone who is new to surfing!

Had an amazing time with everyone from Aqia surf, they took us on a boat and gave us boards for a good price. Also nice to just relax at their bar and have a drink at the beach. Amazing people who are kind and have great energy! If you’re thinking of doing any type of surfing activity at Selong beach, I would not hesitate and visit them. We spent 3 days with Ono and his team, taking 6 private lessons each person in total. It's definitely a memorable experience and they were very dedicated teachers! We started as absolute beginners and at the end of the trip, we are able to catch a few waves with their help. I've also successfully moved from beginner soft board to hard board.

Ono is the owner of Aqua Surf. A professional who values giving you the best tour possible. He is personable and more than willing to share all about the Indonesian culture, surroundings and life on the island of Lombok. Highly recommended 5* plus. Ono made sure my day was memorable. I would also recommend paying the extra money for the go pro videos. The photographer was extraordinary. All in all an amazing and fabulous experience.

This is a place that you can't stop coming back to. I've spent 6 months in Lombok and this place was one of the highlights of my trip. Ono, Aziz and the family are the best surf instructors that I've encountered in Lombok but more than that they are friends for life. Good surfboards, best veggie curry in Indonesia and nice vibes. Fantastic family run surf school and café. Ono and his team will make you feel right at home, either as an advanced or beginning surfer.

We had our first surf lesson at Aqia Surf. We were well looked after and well instructed. We had a great time with the whole team. After the lesson, we could relax on the sunbed and enjoyed delicious food of the restaurant.

We booked surf lessons, a boat tour and the sun bed for a couple of days. The teaching was great and the team went out of their way to make us comfortable!

I'm glad I chose Aqia Surf for my first (and second) surfing lesson and experience! Ono is a fantastic and patient guide. He walked me through the safety/ standard protocols, and I was surfing waves in no time! Great price, and very friendly people. Some really nice coffee and food at their shack too. Awesome place, me and my brother loved hanging out with Onno and his brother and cousin. They are all very pleasant company, awesome surf teachers and human beings. Will come back there as often as possible.

For sure they have the best boards and services for surf guidance in Selong Belanak. I went to surf with them at Serangan by boat and the instructuctor was very helpful. They take safety very seriously and will be sincere to say that the conditions are not the best for surfing at harder locations (all others would probably be pushy and just try to take your money at all costs). I found Aqia very trustworthy. I would Highly recommend.

We took two lessons after trying it on our own first. I recommend to take a lesson from Aqia at least once, Anoar (the owner) has great knowledge of the sea and loves to give information how to surf better. The day after we immediately came back for another lesson.
Plus he is great to laugh with!

The food is really good, one tip: try the chicken sate with the vegetarian curry!
