BAS RINJANI TREKKING

Basic services were provided but not much else. We were put in a 3d2n tour even though we were a 2d1n tour by mistake. We told them this before starting but they said it was fine and then sent us down the mountain on our second day without a guide who continued on with the rest of the group. The guide was pleasant but no extra information given e.g. About the mountain or surrounding area. We were promised air conditioned transfers and multiple snacks but were not provided that. Food was bare minimum of breakfast/lunch/dinner with the only extra snack being a packet of biscuits to share between 5 of us, just not enough when you're doing such a gruelling trek. The owner was quite rude to us and kept accusing people of lying when they stated jackets or poles were included in their tour, demanding proof. Finally our driver at the end tried to get us to buy significantly overpriced (over 150000 IDR more than standard price) transfer tickets to gili islands from his friend at the port because he delivered us too late for the public boat. You are better off paying a little more to go with a better company

Really good experience but so sad after see the conditions of the mountain. Around 100 people every day climbing the mountain and staying there for 1,2 or 3 nights. The mountain is full of rubbish all the way up to the summit and the camp base it will be a landfill in a few years if the companies don't care about the place more then run a business. If you care about the nature I recommend not to go there.

Good experience with this company. Our guide Opan was super friendly, funny and made the best out of our experience. The food was delicious, there were enough snacks and always tea, coffee or water. Also the tents, mats and sleeping bad were in quite good condition. The trekking itself was hard, but totally worth it.
We paid more than some of our group, so there is definitely room for negotiation.

The owner acts rather selly and only offered ridiculous prices for additional transports that we needed during our further stay in lombok which is why we used different providers for transports in the end.

We book our trek 2 months in advance and we arrived at 8 pm the day before and the guys didn’t book us in the quota.we couldn’t make the summit and they didn’t find any solution for us. Very disappointing when you travel all the to Lombok just for that…
