I have been to Rinjani more than once and Herman Trekker is the best, hands down.

As opposed to others who want you to finish the hike fast or cut short so that the can take new customers, Herman Trekker made sure we are having fun and at the same time experience a good and safe hike.

They are very friendly and I can feel their sincerity in serving your every needs. Every decision during the hike is mine while the guide gave us sound advices, not imposing.

It is near zero temperature near the top and their tent, sleeping bag, with thick paddings in the tent are more than sufficient to ensure I am comfortable and did not freeze. I didn’t have that much comfort from others I’ve been before.

Their accommodation prior to the climb is very comfortable. I was indecisive about how I want to travel out of Lombok, Herman helped me book my transportation out to my next destination (Bali) and sent me to the jetty himself!

Everything was smooth and I felt SAFE since they picked me up at the airport until I took a boat out to Bali.

At first, I was just looking for a hike, now I consider them friends and will only recommend Herman Trekker to all my everyone!

I recently booked the 3 day 2 night trip here. We didn’t go to the top because of the bad weather. Our guide told us it was to dangerous, wile some other groups did go to the summit… So me and my group have our doubts about that decision. The rest was very well arranged. We got picked up and dropped off where we wanted. The staff was very friendly. Overal good service. Think we were just unfortunate.

Smooth communication, good organization and a super pleasant guide. We had a unique experience thanks to Herman and his team! Due to the weather conditions at the end of December, being the beginning of the rainy season, we did not reach the top and our trek was shortened from 3 to 2 days. However, for us it was more about the experience than actually reaching the top or walking several miles. And as said, Herman and his team succeeded in making it an unforgettable experience for us.
