Great trek with our guide Suh and the 2 porters. The meals were super good and our guide super attentive. At first I was hesitant to do the trek because I had read reviews about the part from Sembalum that said it was really very difficult. I was very happy to leave from Tete batu which is an easier path (2 days 1 night), we walked at our own pace and arrived at the top tired but without too much difficulty (I had walking poles which helped quite a bit).
I am also very impressed by the very courageous porters. Perhaps the agency could invest in more technical equipment that could take the weight off their shoulders?
In short, I recommend to those who are afraid of doing the Rinjani trek via Senaru and Sembalum but who still like hiking, to leave from Tete batu with Jaya trekking and our guide Suh. I thank them for the experience.

Most wonderful experience with the guide Dani from jaya trekker. We booked 2 days beforehand and had a blast during our 2d/1n hike. We wanted to camp at the top and the team made it happen! It felt like we were in a restaurant at the top of the mountains. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Beautiful trek! It was one of the best experiences I had in Indonesia. Hassan, our guide is a helpful guy, an excellent motivator and very friendly. The walk is for people who have a minimum amount of training and, even if there are many breaks, it has a difference in altitude of around 2000 m.
The porters were phenomenal. They prepared food for us, always offering us different foods and providing impeccable attention and service.

Great trek with Jaya's agency, 2 days and 1 night to climb Mount Sangkareang. The camping place is magnificent with a breathtaking view of the Rinjani and the whole island of Lombok. We took advantage of the sunset from the first evening, before returning to the camp for an excellent dinner and a beautiful fire prepared by our Sup guide and his 2 porters Sam and Afin. We booked a trail 2D1N in the Rinjani. The guys were great: super kind, friendly and they made our stay the more comfortable they could (we even had pillows for the night! Great food (and snacks). Recommended!

The guides and porters were amazing. Sup was our guide and he was incredible! The meals provided on the trip were phenomenal - it was like we were eating at a restaurant. We also really liked how clean they keep the mountain. We highly recommend the tour agency!

We did the Rinjani from the south part. It was 2 days with one night. The tour was so good organized. We where with 6 and we had one tour guide and 5 other guys who are joining us to carry the bags. It was nice to see that the guys who carry the stuff had also so much fun. They make good food for us with some good veggies for some power. Also our tourguide dany was super sweet, helped us through the trip. You can say every moment when you need a break. They had many snacks, water, thee, coffee, a pillow, blanket, mat and tent.

I had super trip One day Hiking Sangkaraeng Mt (peak Pelawangan Tete Batu), the second peak Rinjani from gate Tete Batu and another day one day hiking Peak Pelawangan Timbanuh, Rinjani (gate Timbanuh) from Jaya Trekker company, Treeking Organizer.

I can recommend to do this trek to the Rinjani Rim. The guide Dani and the 2 porters Iphan und Lee were really amazing. Dani speaks good English und you can laugh a lot with him, he is a very charming, helpful and friendly person. Also he is a good chef, his fried rice cooked with barely any tools was one of the best I had in Indonesia. The tour itself is very beautiful trough the jungle up to the crater rim, don’t miss this!

Great communication in advance, extremely trustworthy and reliable, the team did absolutely everything to make it a great experience for us: Jaya and his brother brought us to towns around Tetebatu to learn about local handicraft, showed us the waterfall and ricefields and invited us to dinner with their parents in law, before the trip even started! During the trek they provided great material (soft mats and warm, clean sleeping bags), tasty food and fun, interesting company! We HIGHLY recommend their team and would definitely book with them again!

Wow. My boyfriend and I decided to book through Jaya trekker at the recommendation of our guesthouse- not referencing any reviews prior, we decided to give it a go! We were immediately reassured by the bright and genuine energy of the staff- we met our guide Ofick the day prior and knew we were going to enjoy this experience regardless of the conditions or rigor. Our expectations were totally blown away! We trekked to crater rim with 1 guide and 2 porters- all of whom were beautiful and genuine people. The mentality of the team was refreshing- all about relaxing and soaking up the experience. We were totally shocked when the first meal was prepped- so much careful attention is put into each meal- the taste and presentation- A plus. Of course our porter Bendi, also the expert chef, was totally humble throughout and his top priority was always on others. My boyfriend and I felt at peace and welcomed into the lives of this group. On a deep human level we found our experience to reflect total selflessness and now several weeks later we still bring up these wonderful people in our daily conversations. As for the trek inself- beautiful, rewarding, highly exceeded expectations, and refreshing to be away from massive crowds. Overall, we are incredibly happy to have made new friends and to have been taken on an unforgettable journey.

Had a wonderful night stay at Jaya's Homestay before embarking on my journey to hike Mount Rinjani the following day. We had an introduction session, lovely simple dinner and breakfast, comfy bed, rooms without air conditioning needed and the water they produced is all natural.

I had an amazing time of my life hiking Mount Rinjani, it was an eye opener for me and an experienced that I can't forget.
