Karma Kayak

We had classic burger and beer at this place. The location was nice near the beach. And calming. The food was not very special. And the price for the area and that food a little high. I payed with card. They outed 3% on top, which is not very unusual in Indonesien. The connection from the Automat didn’t work very well and they were very rood. They acted like we don’t want to pay the food till they understood the connection of the Maschine in not working. Disney even apologised. I give a 3 star because the location. But recommend to chose the other restaurants in that area

Very nice hotel far from the noisy center of Gili trawangan. Friendly and professional service. Good position on the beach which is a bit rocky but with the rocks shoes you reach a beautiful coral reef with fishes and turtles. Nice swimming pool with sea water. Good restaurant and excellent breakfast. Nice rooms.

I wish there were 10 stars to give!
The staff was really welcoming, always helpful and kind. We even received a welcome drink and wet towels as refreshment, which was really a nice gesture in the hot weather.
During our stay my wife was a bit sick. The owner was really helpful, she even offered to call a doctor if needed. Thank you again so much!
I am just sad that we couldn’t stay longer there.

We had dinner here in the evening. The portions aren't too big, but the food is incredibly tasty and the service is very attentive!

We have just had the BEST 3 days at Karma Kayak. It’s such a beautiful hotel with outstanding service from the friendly team, we travelled with two kids and the staff were so great with them. The rooms and restaurant are stunning, with great attention to detail and I love the colour palette. The restaurant is also a highlight. My husband says the hotel breakfast is the best he’s ever had and lunch under the trees on the beach has been a highlight every day, the crispy tofu and tacos and are so good! No plastic and a sustainable focus also help to make this an exceptional place to stay. Ending the day with sunset and a cocktail on the beach is perfect. We will be back!

Im judging just the restaurant, I haven’t stayed there.
Best burgers in the island! Both, beef and chicken. Cocktails were also delicious as well as pineapple crumble. The ice cream added to crumble were to die for.:) Staff was super friendly, every one of them.:) the best part was watching the sunset lying on sunbeds at the beach the restaurant provided and moved closer to the water. Highly recommend stopping by

We have stayed 3 nights here and it was a very pleasant experience. Rooms are spacious, very clean, a beautiful garden. The hotel has the restaurant directly on the beach, in the sand, under the trees and it is lovely to have there meals because it is shadow and you have water on your feet. Staff is very friendly and helpful and they rent us also bikes and help us also with laundry. Very good quality for the money we had paid.

We went to the restaurant and tried the Tempura Vegetable, Vegan Curry & Nasi Goreng Vegan.
Unfortunately the food wasn’t good.
The Tempura Vegetable tasted like nothing, the vegan curry was really bad. There was no love in the food and no taste.
The Nasi Goreng was okay.
We wouldn’t go there again.

We came here for dinner and it was really good. I took the highly recommended bluecheese mushroom burger and it was super good. If you like it cheesy than you just have to take this one! Also the fries were good and they considered my wishes. My husband has the beetroot salad which was good but the meat was a bit chewy, sines goes with the burger meat.

The restaurant was close to our hotel, so we decided to eat there on our second evening on Gili Trawangan. The food was really fabulous and the waiters very attentive and friendly. They even have vegetarian and vegan dishes. We were so thrilled (great food, good value for money, friendliness, fast service, lovingly arranged food) that we went there again for dinner the next day. Really a great restaurant with a nice atmosphere right on the beach. Also positive to mention is that you can order water in a pitcher (and not in a plastic bottle) and the restaurant has not used plastic straws since 2017. We booked this Place for two nights. Since we are travelling with our kid we choose to book the more expensive triple room option. When we arrived at the hotel they wanted to charge us extra 150k for a third bed. When we didn't want to except the extra charge because of the booked triple option we booked the staff even got rude and offered us to cancel our booking. So we did. Worst experience I had with a booking in Bali so far. I recommend Nero North next door!

I stayed here recently with my baby and the staff were amazing and so helpful. The manager organised all of our transport and made travelling with a baby so much easier!
It's the perfect place to watch sunset, try and grab one of their super comfy day beds and you'll never want to leave. I also thoroughly enjoyed their menu, lots of healthy vegan options as well as the best burger I've had in Indonesia. Make sure you try the blue cheese burger!

Great breakfast with a typical Bali breakfast menu where you pay ~90k IDR and receive fruit juice or fruit salad, breads, a main course (such as eggs and bacon or nasi goreng) and coffee. Fantastic beach views with seating right on the beach!

We stay 10 days in this wonderful place! The Bungalows are superclean, confy and quiet. Excellent and friendly staff and food very good! Nice beach where u can even have breakfast! Thanks to everybody for the unforgettable great stay, the fun and Astrid (boss) for your love caring! We come back!

An all-time Gili favorite that never disappoints. I love that there is something new every time I visit whether it be a new dish or cocktail. The attention to detail here makes me appreciate the love that goes in to running Karma Kayak. I look forward to my next visit.

The view is great, but that’s about it. The food was bland and the sauce served with the curry and the beef tenderloin were the same and not very good. The chicken sate was ok. I would probably not go back.
