La Bohème

The ac was not working in our room and the staff did nothing. The room was unbearably hot and they randomly added an extra bed without asking us. (We were 4 girls and they added a random guy) Couldn’t sleep at all.

The place looks good in photos but it's nothing like it in person, the rooms are uncomfortable and dirty, the staff is like 30 people, they are everywhere, I stayed for 3 nights and they opened my backpack and they stole money from me, dirty bathrooms, no pool, bad experience, I don't recommend it

Bad bad. I don't understand all the good reviews.
After the first night (and we booked 4) we ran away.

Unexpected services and staff. I end up by mistake in this hostel, but I have extended my stay for another week) Bruno and Yon goes beyond and he.s helping out with anything you ask)

The staff is incredible Ari, Candra, Yon, they are super nice. We have felt at home, you can have coffee and tea at any time, water dispenser, full breakfast.recommendable

Totally dilapidated. Holes everywhere, no privacy, mold on the walls and in the bathrooms. Scam on the double room, which was not available when we arrived, but still available to book. We were not the only ones in this situation. Bike rental for the day, at midday he was chained with another bike and impossible to get it back because “the one who takes care of it therefore sleeps later”.
Close to the main street, but also to the mosque so noisy early in the morning and late in the evening. No professionalism from the team. To flee.

Bed bugs!
We made an reservation for this hostel and came there, but beds on the room were full of bed bugs. We tried to change the room but there was same issue in all of the rooms.
Staff was nice anyway and we got our money back, cause we had to go to another hostel instead. We informed employees about the bed bugs, but they only swiped the floor, and didn’t even change the sheets.

This place is horrible, I don't recommend it to anyone. Our room, booked weeks in advance, was given to someone else. They also played this with someone who arrived before us, who was given a corner in a room that had no walls, no roof, nothing, just a balcony.
There was no other available accommodation on the island, so they moved me to one that is not available anywhere (I think it belongs to them, but if they advertised it elsewhere, no one would come here). I had to pay more for it, but the whole thing was disgusting, moldy curtains, moldy walls, falling plaster, the air conditioner didn't even work, even though it was included in the price. No one should go here, it's all horrible, the only thing that sucks about this place.

I had a wonderful stay here for 2 nights and SOME of the staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. However, as a female travelling solo I wouldn't recommend it. Unfortunately on my last day 200,000 was taken from my purse while I went to take a quick shower before checking out. I returned to an empty purse and a group of the guys looking down at the ground avoiding eye contact when they normally were all smiles.

The hostel was overbooked. But they don’t care about it. They put mattresses in every free corner, also the hole chill area. So there was no chill area anymore, annoying.
We talked to some of the guests and they also offered them to look for another hostel but have to pay twice (because they already paid for this hostel).
Tried to get in touch with the owner a few times (he’s from France) because the stuff member told us they cannot do anything. But after first he offered a repayment then he didn’t replay anymore.
Also other guests told me to try to get in touch but answers are very slow or not at all.
So try to get to another hostel if you don’t want to waste your money.

Very bad experience here! The hostel was completely overbooked with New Year’s Eve and we were told we could just try to find another place to sleep upon arrival. We were treated like animals. There were many people sleeping in the hall and lobby because they overbooked everything on purpose (they do this every NYE to make more money).

The hostel to be Why? Because is one of the cheapest hostel in Gili T and they provide more than others! Eco friendly - unique hostel with incredible vibes. All bookings include breakfast, free drinking waters, good WiFi, kitchen for guests, lots of games, swimming pool, lots of chill areas and incredible guests and team work…. Why pay more when you get the best at La boheme.we are backpackers and this place is made for backpackers. Definitely the best hostel on Gili T…by fare! Thanks again!

I booked for one night originally but kept extending as I liked it so much. Very cosy environment and beautiful tree-house vibes. Delicious banana pancakes every morning. Staff always ready to help and made me feel like at home.

Friendly staff, cute hostel, and nice ambience.i can rent a bike from this hostel and it cost 50k.they serve pancake for breakfast.it will suits you if you wanna make many new foreign friends.the hostel has weekly events.

But the public toilets were so narrow. The water taste salty and not fresh.of course, beacuse it’s near the sea.

Wifi connection didn’t reach my room.

I stayed 5 night in Gili La Boheme and it couldnt be better! The staff is the best and also very helpful with all. The place is amazing, clean and good vibes. They have private room and dorms also. Perfect place to meet people, chill in the swimming pool, explore the island! Go there and you will enjoy a lot!

Gak bisa kasih nilai dulu sebab sejak gempa 2018 sudah tidak buka kata warga setempat.
Mereka punya 2 penginapan dengan tambahan "SISTER" ke duanya tutup.
Padahal kalo dilihat penginapan tersebut bagus dan murah untuk para backpacker spt kami.

Very relaxed. Breakfast is simple but till 3pm, small pool, bicycles for rent. Good value for the price.

I had such a great time in this hostel meeting amazing people and feeling at home. The staff is really friendly and then place so cool. It Spule probably be a very trendy place in any western city. Go for it!

Punya kamar yang bersih toilet yang bersihh. Setiap saya masuk pasti mengkilatt.
Pengen tinggal disini langsung karena nyaman

I have been to many cheap hostels around the world and this has been the worst so far. The staff was not friendly and seemed like they couldn't care less about the customers experience. My 3 friends and I booked the "tent" room, which is basically 3 beds on a lifted wooden platform balcony outside. We were fine and prepared to be sleeping outside with a warmer temperature and fans, but the "tent" room is adjacent to a rubbish field and farm with chickens and goats. The animal noises, along with the temple being right next door, made it impossible to sleep. I think I slept 2 hours the whole night, which was inconvenient because we did a snorkel tour the next day and I was tired. The staff told us that we could only use the outside shower which is the same one that everyone else uses to shower before getting in the pool, so it is very nasty and unclean. The toilet smells of strong sulfur and urine. There were also cats roaming around the tent room and I am allergic to cats. When we tried to talk to management, they said we should have expected this, but there was no way we would have known from the description or photos. They allowed us to switch rooms but made us pay a fee, even though the room did not meet expectations of what was described on the website. The free pancake breakfast is so bad that we decided to eat elsewhere every morning. I would not recommend this hostel. I have stayed in many budget hostels before, but this was lacking the basic cleanliness, hygiene, and respect that I expect for even a basic stay. Do not waste your money here and do not support businesses that treat their customers this way because they know they can get away with it in such a touristic location.

Nice hostel not too far from the harbor. Bathroom are not really practical and not clean most of the time. Pool is nice, common area is nice, rooms are okay.

A quirky place, definitely bohemian. The best part is the staff and how they organise events everyday with a lot of enthusiasm. Its calm and chill during the day but the bathrooms could be located better and a little cleaner, was hard to keeping going down a floor to use the bathroom

Fabulous hostel with great people. Basically a tree house. Stayed in the tents which essentially are bungalows, I would’ve paid more for the experience but they were cheaper lol.you do have to go far for the toilet or a shower though because the water is constantly not working!
Pancakes are actually crepes and the fruit runs out early: (but dope that they’re available until 3PM.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downfall was the loud music that would play until late, which was annoying if you had to get up early the next day.
