Mowie's Gili Air , Bar and Bungalows

I adored my three nights at Mowie’s and would definitely return.

Great location on the west side of the island, on the beach, nice breeze off the water in hot weather, near other restaurants and walking distance to bars / live music. You can walk all over the island or rent a bike to enjoy it some more, I just wished I rented the bike from day one!

My room was fantastic, great size, good amenities and clean, plus a seating area on the deck.

The food at Mowie’s was also define, I ate breakfast and lunch here multiple times for good reason.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I cannot rate Mowie’s highly enough!

Very very nice staff. Good English. Extremely delicious food. We didn't have a room and can therefore only rate the location and the food.
Will definitely come by again.

We tried to go for breakfast/lunch here with the family and thought we would go to the sunbeds with the children and we had swimming toys and other swimming accessories with us. However, the waiter came to say that you cannot sit in these because the beach chairs are reserved for hotel residents, we were never asked if we would order anything. However, the beach and beach chairs were empty and many residents could have fit there. It's unfortunate that paying customers are driven away in this way, a family of four would have ordered plenty of food and drink, so we wouldn't have been there for free.

Best beach bar to eat proper hamburgers and delicious natural smoothies!
The food is very tasty, the atmosphere is charming and the staff is so friendly! Doubtlessly we will come back if we have the chance to visit Gili Air once again in the future!

Good quality restaurant with good customer service, we tried their 2 delicious burgers, I recommend them. Excellent fries

Quite refined flavours with a subtle complexity, found ourselves slowly working through the entire menu as every dish left us wanting more

Nice place to catch the sunset, pretty crowded. Service was abit slow.
We just had drinks there and it wasn’t too bad. Loads of other beach bars down the street

It was okayish at best.

The food was average, looked good but it could use flavor and didnt match up with the high price. The service wasnt that good either, 3 waiters standing around didnt even say hi when i sayed hello and i had to ask for the menu after 5 mins hence they clearly saw us enter the restaurant. Felt like the waiters giggling around pretty much which made us uncomfortable, theres a difference between smiling and giggling.
You have a nice few on the sunset but the place is too crowded to actually enjoy it, loud groups and crying babys.

Dont know if i come back here.

WHAT A PLACE TO STAY!
Stayed at Mowies for 5 days and it was absolutely beautiful. The bungalows are steps away from the beach.

The sunset views from MOWIES are absolutely fabulous.

The staff are extremely friendly and can't do enough for you.

Mowies is in an amazing location just far enough away from the centre to be a little quieter but close enough to get into the center to visit places.

The food at Mowies is also great we eat here a number of times during our stay and enjoyed everything we eat.

Absolutely amazing place to stay and will be back in the future!

Awesome place especially for sunset. Very good red wine for decent price in happy hour. Great food-jackfruit taco is epic! Really something special.

Great place for a sunset. We stayed in the hotel and had a great time. Once we bought a bottle of our favourite Bali wine at a store and the crew put it in the freezer and gave us a cooler so we could enjoy on the beach. We stayed here many evenings. Thank you for this service.

One of the best places to eat in Gili Island.

The food was amazing, the wine is 1/2 price I believe from 5-7. Price was good and taste was excellent. I would definitely recommend eating here! Sunset view is beautiful tons of seating lots of room, staff are very friendly as well.

4pm to 7pm wine-o-clock at Mowies, 35k good size glass of plaga chardonnay white or red wine, with comfy seating and great ocean sunset view.

Delicious, and the view is stunning. Came here 3 times and the Jack fruit tacos and the Love & monko smoothie are 2 of my favorites.

They have a good setting on the beach to chill and enjoy their drinks and food.
You can see a beautiful sunset, and even mt. Agung.

Very cool place to enjoy a beer (or two, or more). Friendly staff and decent price. It was really full of people and it was the lore season so maybe get prépare to fight for a table / seat during the peak season.

The food is amazing, the location very chilled. We enjoyed our time there despite the fact that the service is sometimes veeeery slow.

Absolutely wonderful place with magic atmosphere, very friendly staff and nice menu, really good coffee and the raw dragon fruit cake was soo delicious, highly recommended and hope we come back soon!

Very relaxing place in Gili Air. The food is very good (try the pizza, oh yeah). The atmosphere is cool there with people enjoying the beautiful views. The beer is cool enough to cool you down.

Great place to be and enjoy your day, stay, evening, beach, dishes and beverages. Very delicious and healthy creative food and tasty drinks, love their ice coffee. Place is very popular, especially outside on the beach which is the spot where you have to be during sunset. Cool music as well. Definitely recommended!

Severe food poisoning tonight an hour after eating at beach front restaurant.my wife and I both. May 15th. 2019.expect there will be a high chance of getting sick in an environment of warmth, lack of good hygiene, and questionable refrigeration.part and parcel of eating in Indonesias lax food safety standards.

Perfect spot to just chill out relax by the beach or go for a swim. Also good spot to watch the sunset and have a drink

Really nice place with good atmosphere and lovely sunset views. Food is very good (had the Thai fish curry and the jack fruit tacos) and the staff are more attentive than at most places on the island.

Beautiful setting, great food, great service.
We had the beef curry and the katsu burger and both were excellent. Island life smoothie was also delicious.
