Great experience with the Nemo surf school! Definitely recommend. We were a group of 10 people with various surfing levels, we all took a lesson and had at least 5 instructors. They even provided tshirts, shoes, and pants. Abdul and the boys were super caring and fun. We had another session the next day. Hoping to come back som day!:)

Abdul is a super friendly surf instructor and the whole atmosphere was super relaxed and pleasant. After surfing there was even a little refreshment:) great surf spot for beginners and advanced surfers!

Very pleasant & chill surfers, after the first lesson we made friends with them.good lecturers, they paid attention to us throughout the whole session.on the beach near them there are also smaller waves for beginners and larger ones for a bit advanced surfers. I will definitely be happy to come back

My sister and I took a surf lesson at Nemo’s surf school. It was my first time surfing and the waves at the first beach were a bit strong so the owner took us to another beach to make it easier for us to learn it. The service at Nemo’s Surf school is great and they really take the time and patience to teach you how to surf, even when you’re a beginner. The owner is a very nice man with lots of experience and knowledge about the island and surfing. Thank you so much for the awesome first experience. Would recommend:)

We took 3 surf lessons with Nemo's Surf School and had the best experience. We are beginners, Abdul teached us very well, with a lot of patience, passion and fun. He knew exactly, which waves to take for us. We felt all the time super safe and Senggigi is great for learning basics, as there not so many people surfing than in Kuta. Nemo's Surf School is the best place to learn surfing if you're in Senggigi. It was our first time surfing, so Abdull and his boys brought us to a beginner's spot and taught us the basics. The lesson was memorable and fun; we managed to catch waves and stood up on our first few tries because of Abdull and his crew. They are very patient with us, and helped to identify waves that are big enough for us to surf on. They were beside us in the water the whole time, and we never once felt that we were in danger.

They also provide life jackets for weak swimmers who are worried about falling in the sea, and rash guard for sun protection. Abdull also shared his life story on how he became a surf instructor from selling souvenirs by the beach. It was very inspiring. This is truly the best place for both beginners and advanced surfers alike.

Abdul, his son and his friend thought us how to surf and it was great! The spot is very good for beginners and they give good explanations and hints! Thanks a lot!:)

Abdull Rahim and his son are very very experienced surfers and it shows. They will guide you through all the steps to teach you how to stand on the board and catch waves. They can also take very nice GoPro pictures and videos so that you can show off how great of a surfer you are … ^^. The surfing experience was really amazing, but it wasn’t only that. It was also a memorable human experience. They are great people and you will learn a lot from them.
I highly recommend taking surfing lessons with Nemo’s surfing school, you will love it.

Had an excellent lesson with Abdul he is a very knowledge very experienced surfer. This is the third surf lesson I've had an he is definitely the best surf instructor I have had. He speaks excellent English and is patient and a good teacher. I throughly recommend using his surf school!

The owner and his son are both great surfers and teachers. Being my first ever surfing experience these two really made it a great one. Genuinely friendly and really wanted to help you improve and ensure a good time.

They both speak English well enough to be easily understood and I'd say above average for the region.

They even picked us up at our hotel and offered to drive us back when we were done.

Nemo's surf school is reason enough to stay in Senggigi. It was a real pleasure learning from Abdull and his boys. Abdull is a little like Peter Pan and his boys - the lost boys; very charming and full of joy. The spot they surf at is beautiful and the support you receive is excellent. My wife and I had been surfing once before and we improved a lot from the tuition we received. What I was most impressed by was the personal investment Abdull makes in your progression and feels every movement you make. He is genuinely thrilled whenever you ride that wave and equally gutted whenever you just miss it. He is always positive and loves to share his knowledge. The prices was very reasonable and we chose to surf for 3 days. You receive all the necessary equipment. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Abdull and Team were so patient in teaching my first timer children and they were sufing so well. Special care was given to my 10yr old girl with 2 instructors. Thumbs up to you guys.

I really recomend Nemo surfing school. Abdul, Is the best! They're very friendly and helpful trying always his best. The prices are very good and they have a lot of boards to choice. Also he didn't have a bodyboard and got one for Me that it's not easy in Lombok. If you Want rent or surfing lessons this Is for sure the best place! Also he will take you to the best spots it doesn't matter how far are. Thanks and continue always like that!

We had a great time with Ari at Nemo's school! Since we tried surf before, the first day Ari helped us refresh the technique and recognize the waves. He even took some shots of us while riding the waves with his Gopro The second day, we just rented the surf, because Ari suggested us we were ready to surf. He was also there teaching other people but he was always giving us a tip and helping us to recognize the waves. Really recommended! Professional and nice, great guy! Prices are reasonable and fair.
Small tip: if you arrive at the school spot and you don't find anybody, try to write or ask the people around. Usually Ari and his colleagues are staying at the beach in front of Warung Paradiso, you can try to go directly there.

After reading many good reviews, we took our 15 year old son and his mate along for a morning of surfing. What a wonderful bunch of instructors! With a focus on safety and success in the ocean, the 3+hours they spent getting the boys to be confident in the water and challenging them whilst recognising their abilities or limitations, was an experience second to none.
Abdul is a fantastic person who gave encouragement to the boys and passed them little by little until he had them standing up on their boards much to the delight and cheers of the other surfers in the water.

Ari appeared as a great teacher - patient, encouraging and entertaining. The place he choose was excellent to learn surfing, with waves just for beginers. Finaly we were all actually surfing! We enjoyed the whole day so much. I recommend to all to enjoy super lessons, great servis, reasonable price and friendly staff of Nemo´s. I couldn´t have made a better choice of surfing school.

As I love water I always wanted to try surfing, however seeing the waves and after first fall downs from board I realized that it is not so easy as it looks like Abdul and his guys didn’t let me give it up, gave me great guidance and support to be able to enjoy every moment of this sport and to continue in learning almost every day of my stay in Senggigi.
