Novotel Lombok Resort and Villas

Even by Indonesian standards, this hotel is a disaster.
The vast majority of hotels we stayed in on our trip through Indonesia have not invested any more since Corona.
But they don't even clean here anymore. In addition to the completely smeared doors and the coffee stains in the curtains, I would rather not know what invisible surprises lie in store.
The place cannot be reached on foot. The taxi prices are agreed and fixed.
The basically good idea of ​​not using plastic means that you have to buy an expensive bottle and can refill it at exactly one station throughout the hotel.
The alternative is a liter of water at the bar for around four euros.
So stay away. The hotel is not worth the money.

Lovely 4 days 3 nights stay in Novotel Lombok during end of September. Really beyond our expectations. Yes, the hotel is old, but it aged well. Well maintained! Another thing that I would like to mention is the staff were really very friendly & they greeted all the time with smiles on their faces. Extremely quite and wonderful private beach only for hotel guests. Really enjoyed our stays here!

Tempat strategis, staf yang sangat ramah dan membantu. Rejeki dapat kamar 101 yang pernah dipakai RI-1 saat peresmian Sirkuit Mandalika.

Menginap di Novotel adalah pilihan terbaik saya selama di Lombok, hotel yang sangat nyaman dengan semua staff yg samgat ramah dan helpful. Semua aspek disini membuat kenangan yang begitu dalam, suka banget dengan design hotelnya yang membuat kita seperti di rumah. Saya pernah tinggal di Kamar Deluxe dan Villa nya, semua nya sangatt nyaman. Breakfastnya juga enak2 walaupun memang kurang variatif tp rasanya selalu konsisten enak. Ada kids clubnya juga yang membuat anak saya betah dan happy adalah staff2 di kids club sangat terampil mengajak anak saya bermain dan membuat activity bersama anak2. Terima kasihh Novotel, sure we will back

So far best hotel experience of my life!

We had a sasak villa (502) it was a great experience. Rooms & bath rooms are huge. We fell in love with this hotel. The staff made us feel like we sre at home with family & friends.
We traveled with a 6 month old baby. Everybody was crazy for our little baby.
Even other guests felt so relaxed & welcoming that you got in touch easily with other guests.

Everything at this place was simply perfect starting from the architecture, the facilities, flowers & plants, live music in the evening, staff & the great beach beds.

We had 1 week there & another 4 weeks on lombok. We felt sooo sad leaving this place that we promised ourselves that we will return one day.

2 downsides which are:
- no gojek & grab in kuta area in general which makes getting to Kuta (5 min by car) a bit expensive. Both ways 100k, often our dinner for 2 was cheaper including drinks than the taxi.
- the beach sucks at low tide since the water pulls back a few hundred meters.

Great hotel, clean and spacious. The swimming pool facing the sea is clean and beautiful. There are live performances and singing during dinner. The beach in front of the hotel is very special. The sand is so thick that your feet will sink when you step on it. There are many single-family villas where we stayed. It's a twin room. It's very new, clean and quiet. It's very suitable for a couple's vacation. There is a Chinese-speaking receptionist and other waiters are very enthusiastic. The breakfast is good. One kilometer to the east is the super beautiful Kuta beach. To the west there is a beautiful beach. From Dazhu Bridge, you can go to the hills to enjoy the sunset. It is recommended to stay for two or three nights.
Disadvantages: The welcome drink is not freshly squeezed juice, and the swimming pool is not open at night.

Quietly located hotel in Kuta Lombok, close to Mandalika Circuit, motors can sometimes be heard on practice days.
Basic support for Gold customers, no upgrade provided, on the contrary, a room full of ants and close to the entrance and the road knowing that we have a young child. We wanted to book a taxi to go to the fresh market in Kuta with a gentleman from the reception, this person gave us 300,000 Rupiahs for the round trip, except the driver only asked us for 100,000 Rupiahs.
The kid's club is very good, always full of activities for children and the staff is very nice as well as the beach staff.
Housekeeping to be reviewed in the rooms.

Ada lapangan voli dan bola.
Kolam renang tidak terlalu besar tp dapat pemandangan laut.
Masakan restorannya enak dan beraneka ragam.
Malamnya ada pertunjukan tarian daerah.

There are only two notable hotels in Lombok, and this is one of them. Novotel has great service, and the staff are pretty amazing - friendly and warm - and will go out of their way to help. Not all speak English, so you must have some patience.

The rooms are typical resort-style spaces, though some ground floor rooms have patios and ceiling fans. The bathrooms are spacious, which is always a good thing.

Unfortunately, Lombok is still quite a niche destination and not the easiest place to get to. Expect to pay between IDR 65,000 (hotel to Kuta) to IDR 200,000 (hotel to airport) for car services.

Very nice resort with beautiful beach and friendly staff. Perfect place to spend holiday in Lombok. And thank you for birthday arrangement.

Good location. We stayed for three nights at one of the villas.pros:
+ staff were friendly and helpful.
+ Room service and restaurant menu were ok although a bit pricey.
+ kids love the swimming pool
+ the sand garden in front of our villa was awesome. My daughter love to build sand castle over there
+ “good morning” cow was the best attraction during breakfast
+ love the coffee machine pod!

cons:
- Had a little ant invasion but the hotel responded very quickly.
- one of the bathroom sink pop-up drain were broken. It keep closing on, so we need to pop it up with knife.
- too far from local convenient store to buy snacks and “pop mie”

Nice cozy upmarket place with private beach. Not expensive, ok beach with seasonal current so at times the water look murky and other time the water is clear. The beach has no waves and relatively calm even at bad weather so it is safe to bring the kids, the pepper-like-sands not friendly though it grinds through your skin like grit paper so walking on it kinds of hurts. I wished the sands more like traditional sands like in bali soft and gentle but it is unique so if you look for unique sands this is the place to go. The beach also surrounded by dead corals so swimming is only possible at high tide still be careful of its sharp edges, at low they are visible and can be walked on you have to walk far toward the sea to really swim but then it is too danger for most people because after the corals the waves are much bigger.

Very cozy resort—on the beach and, thank God near the hills (we were there when the great quake shook Lombok) —albeit need a bit rejuvenation. Multiple pools. Good-size room. Expensive for local tourists and the menu (drinks) were not fresh. Friendly staff.this is my second visit

Tempat yang sungguh asik buat liburan bareng keluarga or teman-teman. Dekat dengan pantai-pantai terkenal nan eksotik seperti Kuta, Tanjung Aan, Seger dll

If you wanna make sure to have a great time in Lombok than Just book at Novotel. It wont disappoint you!

Nice grounds and beach cabanas. I didn't stay at the resort, so this review is just for the day facilities. Predictably pricey.

I really loved my stay at Novotel Kuta Lombok.
Everything it was perfect, the rooms, the pools, the breakfast and, especially, the staff! You can fill there at home! I wanna come back!

Hotelnya bagus banget. Pelayanannya keren banget. Pemandangannya top banget. Karyawannya ramah banget. Suasananya nyaman banget. Makan pagi belum tahu, mungkin bsok pagi baru bisa kasih komentar. Wifi oke punya.

Terrible food. Breakfast lunch dinner was terrible.
