OLA OLA LOMBOK

I totally loved my stay at Ola Ola and would totally recommend it. First we stayed for one week and after we visited Gili island we came back for another week. The rooms a well decorated and everything is working great. I loved the beakfast, especially the overnight oats and the omelette. It was served by the staff which was sooo friendly and nice. We even went to a surf trip with Gips (one of the staff) to Gerupuk Beach. I think Ola Ola is not only nice for a short stay but we also loved it as a, homebase” as it is located very close to a beautiful beach: Selong Belanak (they make a bonfire there almost every night:) ) But it is also possible to go to Kuta and other beaches by scooter. We stayed in the rooms at the second house. It is surrounded by palm trees, banana trees and mangoes! (I loved to wake up with this view!) Thank you for the time and I will definitely come back.

Ola Ola is my favorite to stay on Lombok! The staff are very welcoming and accommodating, and the lodging is spacious and clean. Selong Belanak is an also a great getaway. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a home-stay in the area. Their staff Gibran also gives great surf lessons!

Ola Ola is a hidden gem in Lombok, it is located close to Lombok’s tourist center Kuta but in a more quiet area, so perfect if you are seeking a hideaway from the crowds.
In Ola Ola you can book your private yoga classes, which is the perfect add on to your surf holiday. With or without being a surfer I can highly recommend taking yoga classes there as it is the perfect balance between having a workout and time to relax.

We had a room on the upper floor for 4 nights. The furnishings and style were very much in line with our taste. Air conditioning works. Breakfast included and delicious, unfortunately the granola and overnight oats were not available. A scooter could be rented directly from the property and a laundry service was located directly opposite the property.

Best location to the beaches around, local, authentic and rural area. The stuff is very nice and kind. Very good surf teacher, awesome spot to practice yoga, nice swimming pool and 4 delicious breakfast options. I loved to have a restaurant inside, good quality meals and you don’t need to go out when you’re tired.

Best place to stay in Lombok! For the price, you get a comfortable, clean room, free breakfast, and most of all: you will feel like you're at home. The staff, especially the two receptionists Gibran and Ikis, are the loveliest people you'll ever meet. Gibran is also an amazing surf instructor, I really recommend him for your lessons.

The Hostel looks really like on the pictures, what is a big plus.

+friendly & helpful staff

-bad noise isolation of the room, so you hear everything of your neighbors and the surrounding of the guesthouse (roosters, crying kids, of course the prayer, but also talks in the house next door plus the talks from the common area)

+you can fill your water bottle for 2.000 rupiah, which is a great service & really environmental friendly
-you just find out that you can fill your bottle if you ask for it -> easy to improve that fact just tell about it during check-in

-no soap or shampoo in the holders, but we got some immediately after asking for it

Great location central to everything. The staff and owner is very attentive to your need. The place is clean and has available off street parking for night time securing. Simple breakfast but delicious and enough to start your day.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ola Ola Lombok. The room was great, the breakfast delicious, but the service was even better.

Gibran and Ikis were always happy to see us and treated us like family. Ikis even invited me to play soccer with his friends. It was so much fun playing with his friends and I even had the honor of having dinner at his family's home before hand! It was a very special night.

I 100% reccomend this hotel to everyone.

Just not very clean, we ended up leaving. But they may be able to improve as they recover from the last few years. The people were excellent to deal with.

Best place in Selong Belanak. Delicious and healthy breakfast, cozy rooms, nice swimminpool and friendly environment!

When we arrived we couldn't check in because the two ladies were still relaxing and slowly preparing our room. This is not a problem but the room looked disastrous despite being cleaned.
Hair all over the floor, toilet was wiped with a dirty rag, the bedlinen stained etc.we could not even take a shower, because there was no hot water.

The beach itself is super nice except for the staff there who bug to sell the sunbeds. There are a lot of locals on the beach with small children who have nothing under control. The children pee on the sunbeds. On the way to the beach you walk partly on unpaved muddy ground. And people gape and behave disrespectfully towards tourists. What surprised me, because it was not the case in Bali.
Back to the hotel we noticed that our suitcase was conquered by ants.
In the bed on the wall and in the suitcase were thousands of ants. Unfortunately there was no alternative room for us and we had to sleep in this room after we got rid of the ants. The owner Neus and Ola did not respond to our messages and photos to help us. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was by far the worst experience in my entire life. I also don't understand how all the 5/5 stars come about.

Best place to stay close to Selong Belanac (low/mid budget).
I really love this place. The most importante is that the owner's and the stuff are very caring and friendly. They make you feel like it's you home.
The place is at 10-15 min walking to the Selong Belanak beach, a very beatifull and good place for surf beginners. Amazing sunset.
If you level is higher, you can rent a motorbike and go to other beaches with higher waves.
They also offer to you spa and yoga lessons at 15 min walking from Ola Ola.
The food os very good and cheap compared to other restaurats. And the breakfast (included) is really good! (Try the "Overnight Oats")
You can find cheaper places in Koeta (Lombok), but I thing It worths to pay the difference at least for a week.

Nice little hotel near selong Belanak Beach. 5 minutes to walk. Food is super good and stuff is Very friendly. The bed is not very comfortable and the rooms are pretty small.

Best place to stay in Selong Belanak. Great little home stay tuned by a lovely couple. Very clean, nice pool, good food and great location.

It’s a nice looking homestay with lovely decoration. You can see that the owner put effort in it to make it comfortable.
We had the deluxe room with vorwaget and aircon. It had enough room but the hot water sometimes took 3-4 mind to come trough and sometimes it was so smelly. So we decided to shower cold because this didn’t smell. Paid for hot water which was sometimes not usable. Electricity and wifi was broken really often. They tried to fix it fast. Selling Balanal is more a remote stew which is ok. I don’t need hot water and wifi to live but if you pay 380 for one week and don’t get what they offered it’s really disappointing and top mich money. In fact we thought we booked a surfcamp it was very disappointing in this aspect. We didn’t need any lessons and we just booked t the room what the owner told is to do. We could joint the surf activities there. But there weren’t any so we could rather stood in a homestay alone and do our own thing because that’s what we had to do at ola ola. It’s a nice place, staff is really friendly, food is good. But in my opinion too overpriced and not a surfcamp like atmosphere.

We loved it so much that three days turned into two weeks! Incredible staff, great healthy food, and a beautiful clean modern space. A short walk to the beach for perfect beginner surf too! Thank you Ola Ola we had the best time!

This place is Unique! It is cute and warm. The owners are very friendly and communicatives. Employees are helful and they are always with a smile. I felt great there. I really enjoyed my stay!

Ola Ola is the best place to stay in Selong Belanak. The interior of the rooms are very stylish and the smoothie breakfast bowls are delicious! They also offer surf classes which are so much fun! A perfect place to relax, surf and do yoga. Lovely owners who really care about their guests.

Best place in Lombok to stay! We really enjoyed our days in Ola Ola! Please check their Yoga & Surf package, it's totally worth it! The yoga classes with Veronica were just amazing, the best yoga I ever done! Also Lalu is a fantastic surf teacher, surfing there was a big lesson! I would recommend both activities and the superior room without doubt! Ola Ola is just perfect! If you're in Lombok, is the place to stay!
