OSTINA FAST BOAT

It's a scam! They sell tickets and they they say the boat engine is broken and that they won't be able to take you. That if you want to get to your destination, yo have to buy a new ticket from another company and that that is the last boat of the day. For that 2nd ticket they charge double (in cash) and they tell you that to get a refund for your first ticket, you have to put a claim to the website you used to buy the ticket, which will never respond. They just keep your money.

I travel between Bali and Gili a lot and I always choose Ostina Fast Boat. They provide very good service and offer the best value for money. It’s much cheaper than other fast boats. It’s very comfortable and they have AIRCON. You can book a nice and cheap shuttle bus as well

Absolutely awful experience. For the price, we could at least expect aircon. It was extremely hot, the boat left 1h late.
I'll never book with them again.

Scam!
They charge us 1 milion ticket with no shuttle and the boat was 2 h late.
We have been attacked at the return from people trying to sell shuttle ticket when must be included.
Terrible.
They should keep the tourists happy and no trying to scam them.

Not even one star. Tired of the kindness of Bali and Gili people? Then get on this boat! You have the chance to meet some of the most unfriendly Indonesians in Gili Trawangan.

They are trying hard to extort money from Gili Trawangan Ostina employees. I made a reservation with an open ticket and went to confirm the schedule, but the man in the office had a very unpleasant and unfriendly look in his eyes. I had never seen such a person in Indonesia, so I thought it was a mistake.
When I went to change my schedule once, they yelled at me asking me to change my ticket ‘multiple times’. To be exact, I only changed it once, and other boat companies never say anything even if I change the schedule several times.

He sits at the office desk with his legs up and glares at me for 10 seconds while yelling. They're criticizing me because I did something wrong. Then, if you want to ride because the boat is full, you have to pay 100,000 rupiah. If all seats are full, you can't ride. When they ask you to pay, they yell at you and tell you to ask the agency because it's your fault.
I sent a text to Easy Gilly and said they would check, but when I asked them why they were treating me this way, they kept glaring at me and screaming that I was angry because you changed my ticket.

Then, it seemed like I was sending a messenger to an actual agency, so I threw my boarding pass away lol. I got angry and started arguing with him, so another employee next to me stopped me and told me to just hurry up and go. When I got on the boat, it wasn't full, but only 10% full. There are some cheap scammers out there who just want to rip off travelers' money. Please try another brand

Reliable transfer to the Gili Islands. Friendly staff. Economical fares. Older boat but comfortable enough.

NEVER BOOK with this company! A nightmare guaranteed, boat left 2 hours earlier than ticket indicated. We went to the counter while their rude staffs didn’t excuse but blamed us for not arriving 3 hours than the boarding time, which is totally ridiculous. They didn’t even contact us when knowing the schedule changed. There is NO solution but only rude attitude. We had to pay by ourselves 2 more tickets full price to get on another boat.

Horrible! AC not turned on. You feel bad from the heat and then in addition it takes de waves so hard the boat flies up and smashes down like crazy. Better to take a slow boat and feel better.

We were going with other company to padang bai. We left our bagagge waiting for the boat, next to Inami company, next to Ostuni office. They took our bagagge and put it in their boat. So we come and there were no bagagges anymore. We had to take other boat and our stuff was in other. Good experience. They were like laughing at the situation. We found the baggage but it was the worst experience ever

Avoid it! 2 trips two times 1.5 hour delay. There is no toilet so if you have to travel to Lombok you cannot even pee for 3 hours ish. I am not sure if they have different boats but the one I travelled with it did not have any toilet

Terrible terrible company! Our boat left 2hours late, and had engine problems, so we were stuck on lombok harbour for over two hours, while the staff "fixed" the faulty engine with scotchtape. Ee had a shuttle service included in the price, which was meant to be a direct ahuttle to oir hotel, but ended up being a shared van, which stopped in every city on the way to ubud, and would have took 4hours, instead of the announced 1h10. We ended up having to pay a private car. What should have been a 3h trip lasted all day and in awful conditions. This company is so dishonest and unreliable, i hope they run out of business!

Scammers! They charged us twice the price just because we “booked last minute”, the boat ride took use 3,5 hours from Padang Bai to Gili T instead of 1,5 hours. Also overbooked boat and no AC - very uncomfortable

One of the few decent companies. I had the honor of sailing with Ostina 3 times already. Always fine and without problems.

DON'T BUY THE TRANSPORT HERE FOR WHEN YOU GO TO UBUD! They are scammers, that trip is included in the boat. Enough of stealing from tourists, they deserve that we don't come to this country anymore!

Don’t book this company. They were late to pick us up from our hotel and almost missed our boat to Gili. On the way home the boat was 1 hour late, then the journey took 4 hours our boat almost flipping many times in the most horrible waves. It is not worth it. Then arriving in Padangbai to tell us we have another 4.5 hour journey on a shuttle bus to get us to our hotel. We had to pay an extra 600000 to get a private taxi instead for a 1.5 hour car ride. They try to scam you when you get off the boat so beware.

It's the smallest of the fast boats.they go really fast over the rough ocean waves. The boat was rotating 30 degrees from side to every few seconds as it hit the waves and i was being flung into the air every few seconds. I fully expected the boat to sink but i couldn't see any life jackets. I would have been a lot more worried if i knew about all the other fast boat sinkings. Avoid it, it appears to be the smallest fast boat on the gili run. From the reviews i see eka jaya or Bluewater express have bigger boats which would make for smoother journey. It still counts as the worst travel experience of my life.

The Boat was very late, at least an hour and a half delay
Super bumpy ride despite the sea being calm.
You have a free shuttle bus to Bali after the boat ride BUT, the company employees try to convince you that you are not entitled, so you pay for it.

The boat left an hour later than scheduled. All other boats left before this one and that is normal apparently. In that case shouldn’t advertise 9.30 am as the departure time. The boat was cramped, stuffy and suffocating. There was air conditioning but it was inadequate for the numbers on board. There were no seats outside, so if you went up top you had to sit on the deck. Outside they put ghetto blasters on via Bluetooth that nearly blew your eardrums ou This is an accident waiting to happen. This boat should be retired off, it is not fit for purpose. CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

TAKE ANY OTHER BOAT SERVICE ON THE ISLANDS! Absolutely horrendous experience. The cabin smelled intoxicatingly strong of gas and they would yell at anyone trying to open a window worried about their health. We both had headaches and were throwing up by the end of the boat ride from the carbon monoxide they trapped everyone with. Their boarding process was one of the worst I've witness as they had everyone crowded around the boat, wouldn't let then on, but were yelling and trying to constantly shove through everyone to get the bags on first.

One of the worst experience in my whole life. Im not speaking about the boat which is btw as dirty as risky in term of security. I speak about the Ostina customer experience. They refused us to onboard, even with 2 kids, at the last minute because they were in overbooking.
And the captain of Ostina 3 is full of disgrace and disrespect. Pass your way.

DO NOT BOOK THIS BOAT! Ekajaya was way better! The boat smelled so bad of gasoline when we got on people started getting sick And passing out. We tried to open windows and the employees kept shutting them on everyone keeping us in the sealed gasoline container. I tried to tell the employees we need air and they refused to do anything. Left the port late as well. And the boat was very dirty on the inside.

DONT TAKE INVINA FAST BOAT THEY ARE DANGEROUS AND DONT TRUST THE GUY WHOSE NAME IS ALEXO, HE IS A LIAR A JUST WANT YOUR MONEY.

Worst company ever
First of all we were 2 hours late back and forth and the AC was barely working inside of the boat
Also NEVER USE their taxi service to go somewhere from padangbai they charge twice the price and even more it’s a scam! They will try to steal money from you, be smart and use gojek instead ;)

Terrible boat company. The boat itself is packed with people. Air conditioning is poor and with no proper ventilation. Many people were sea sick on the boat. When you arrive at your destination, for instant us (padang bai) make sure you do not let other people take your coupons. I repeat don't follow anyone else but the company you buy the shuttle from. So many scammers trying to take us for a ride.
