Pongkor

My friend and I went Stand Up Paddle boarding with our instructor Fabi and it was the best experience ever. He was so patient with us and made it so much fun. It was our favourite part of our entire month long trip and we can’t wait to come back!

We did private tour with Pongkor with 4 people. Best experience. The people are very friendly and the tour guides get great go pro videos of turtles and coral with lots of fish and take you to the best locations. Best advice is to go out early at 8. By 11/12 it's very busy.

I asked if I could get a private tour that wasn't quite as demanding since I was in the hospital the day before with severe back pain.

I explained my situation and got a private teacher for 1 hour. He was very sensitive and gave me the experience I had dreamed of and was afraid I wouldn't be able to do anymore because the 4 hour tour would have been too much for me.

For me it was my first time snorkeling anyway but that was okay because he tried very hard to guide me well.

We did a private scuba tour which was awesome. Some of the spots felt surreal to see all the fish moving around the coral. We especially liked the sea turtle portion of the tour, almost everyone was following the same sea turtle but our guide brought us away from the big group and found a different turtle that we could look at just the three of us. Our guide went above and beyond with our GoPro too and went to the very bottom to get closeup shots of everything. Highly recommend this place!
