We chose the 3 days and 2 nights adventure and we are delighted. Everything was perfect, Katni (the manager) was very professional and accommodating and lent us the equipment we needed (headlamps, coats and poles). We were accompanied by two porters and a guide, who cooked us wonderful meals, you won't go hungry ;).
Our guide Lassa is probably the best you can have on the Rinjani, he adapted to our pace, helped us whenever he could and he was particularly attentive to our well-being. In addition, he speaks very good English and understands French well, which allowed us to talk a lot with him, which helped to make our adventure so exceptional.
Finally, I must mention that the company takes great care not to throw any non-organic waste into the mountains, which is not the case for all companies.

My husband and me, did the trekking of 3 days and 2 nights to climb to the top of the rinjani with this agency. We really liked the experience but we did not like the services they offer. We had a guide named Owen who left us A lot of times alone on the road, he didn't explain anything to us, I hurt my feet and he didn't even care, the only thing he told me was because I wasn't going faster. These are some of the details that we did not like about the guide and this company, and they also asked us for more money at the end of the trek when we had already paid enough. For all that, I would not recommend this agency or this guide.

Just ended my first Solo Travel Trekking experience with Rinjani Women and I've got nothing but thumbs up for this company!
I felt safe throughout, the entire experience was well organised, and Katni and her team were super friendly and welcoming hosts. I took up the 4D 3N itinerary to trek from Sembalun to Mount Rinjani Crater Rim Base camp and descended to the Segara Anak Lake, thereafter exiting through Torean (Swiss Alps of Indonesia). Everything included in my package was delivered with great service. My guide Sona, although young, was service oriented and alert throughout the experience, and we managed to build quick rapport during the first day of my arrival in Lombok as we visited the 2 waterfalls of Senaru Village (Sedang Gile and Tiu Telep). Sona supported me throughout my trekking journey and kept me safe with her boundless energy and wisdom in her DNA as a Torean Sasak Native. My 2 porters were Harman and Afe, who were friendly real life superheroes. They can cook delicious hearty meals, set up your tent for the night, and help you with lightening your load carrying your heavy backpack (whilst carrying 30KG on their shoulders), all in flip flops. I appreciated Sona explaining to me the various crops and plants we seen throughout the trek, e.g. Fresh Cacao at Torean Kampung Village, the Rinjani Edelweiss flower etc that I would never get to see in Singapore. I would not have survived in the wilderness of Rinjani without my Rinjani trekking team. This was by far THE MOST adventurous thing I had ever done, and without Rinjani Women Adventure, I would not dare to embark on a female solo traveller's journey to explore Mount Rinjani. Mad respect to Katni who share with me about her mission to empower local women in pursuit of gender and wage equality in Lombok. After my trekking ended I was transported back to their office and had a shower at Katni's home which was a godsend. I was surprised they prepared a certificate of appreciation for me when we were bidding farewell! For a truly authentic, personable and connected experience with the locals, look no further than Rinjani Women Adventure. Terima Kaseh, Katni and team!

What a great company. Empowering local women and delivering really great tours as well. Take time to talk to your guide about the mission of the business. Really inspiring!
