Sasak cafe

Warung next to the beach but with the food a little basic, a lot of fried food and nothing remarkable.

The place is sublime with a view of the beach. The dishes were average, the noodles were very salty with too much sauce.

Small restaurant on the beach! Perfect for sunsets. The staff is very friendly and the dishes are excellent. There are often small activities, such as music groups or singers. I recommend

It is a bar that offers substandard and poorly prepared food.

It was also full of flies! You couldn't even have your not particularly tasty meal in peace without one of the 20 flies at the table wanting to land on it every two seconds. However, the service was good.

Happy hour with 50krp cocktails from 17 till 20. Friendly staff. Good food and fair price. You have to try their fried butter chicken, it’s delicious. Friendly reminder: You’re in holiday in a super chill island, you can be patient if it’s busy! Be kind to people working!

Great for a snack on the beach. Personally, the portions for dinner were far too small for us. The view of the beach and the sunset made up for it a little.

Big atmosphere that night. There was a band!
Service is slow and disorganized. Indonesian dishes are good. Avoid pasta carbonara and bolognese (which are not)

The staff is very pleasant, it organizes several concerts or fireworks shows depending on the evening. Very relaxing by the sea like that. The food is very tasty there.

Raw pancake shows when they do things without desire, and very expensive bad. I would not go back

I wasn't sure about eating somewhere with 4.1 stars.but was bloody delicious! Great decision.

Amazing atmosphere especially then live band, Brotherhood is playing the food is delicious especially grill seafood! The guys who works here is very friendly. We would like to try all menu but we didn't have enough time for that

I didn't eat at Sasak cafebut had several drinks during sunset. Friendly and awesome view of the sunset if the weather is clear. Nice ambiance. At time they played life music. I like it

Live music from 7pm onwards on certain days. Food is really good, but smaller portions. Very nice cocktails and great vibes!

Datang ke sini untuk makan malam. Coba menu fried chicken butter dan special fried rice. Untuk yg chicken butter rasanya aman. Nasi gorengnya agak terlalu oily dan nasinya agak lembek, bukan tipe untuk nasi goreng. Kalau datang ke sini malam, siap2 pakai lotion anti nyamuk ya!

Unfortunately one of the very few places on Meno that I cannot recommend. The mixed seafood was 180k but one of the worst seafood I have had. Maybe just come here for drinks in the evening. The live music was nice

This place is exceptionally good food, the cooks really know how to cook. We came here Everyday for a week. I highly recommend the Fried chicken butter, chicken quesadilla, the tomato soup is to die for and her Currys are delicious. Such a smokey flavour on those tomatoes and depth of flavours going on in that soup. All 3 is a must try also on Monday and Tuesday there is live music and it really brings a sense of community to this place. Family owned and operated and they make you feel welcome from the first time you come here. Thanks everyone for such lovely food and lovely atmosphere on Gili Meno.

Best restaurant in Gili Meno. The food is amazing and have the best sunset of the Island. And the best margaritas

Fine little restaurant. We had the grilled fish with fries and vegetables. You can see the fish before if you want. So tasty! One of the best restaurants on the island.

Brilliant little warung on Gili Air. Excellent location & brilliant authentic Indonesian food. We loved it. Great family owned & run eatery

Great atmosphere, music, service, setting

Amazing food. Wifi is the strongest in the whole island. Cost is marginally more but so worth it!

Really good view for dinner. Food was delicious and the fresh chilli in the mixed rice goes great with everything! The fried tofu and Tempe were really crispy adding another kind of sensation to the food.
The milkshake was of good thickness, enabling one to savour the taste of the milk and fruits.

If you get to wait less than 2 hours for your food, you're in luck.
The food was alright but not worth the wait or the quite unfriendly staff.
I would advice you to walk a few minutes more north to a really nice beach bar, with nice food, nice staff, and without the wait.

Went as a group of 4 and ordered 3 starters and 4 meals, as well as some water. The water came quickly enough, but the first 2 starters - chicken heaven - came half an hour later, which felt quite long considering there were only 4-5 other tables in the restaurant occupied. Those starters were okay, but the strange mix of sauce (pesto and thousand Island) detracted slightly. The other starter, chicken noodle soup, took another 10 minutes to arrive. The first lot of main meals arrived again, an hour after we had first sat down. Mine was good, but my friends did not enjoy theirs. When the chicken burrito arrived 1 hour 10 minutes after we first sat down, it was also not great and my friend ended up not finishing it. Its a nice location but the quality of the food, coupled with the wait time, is not worth going for.

Horrible food! Sadly there wasn't electricity for most of the time.

But would recommend eating Western cuisine, cause they suck bad at making Indonesian food.

There was more salt in my noodles than in the ocean!

This place is awesome. Went here every supper throughout my stay on Meno. I fully recommend the Peanut Penang and Butter Fried Chicken, the portions were awesome and the price was very reasonable. The second night had some very talented live music, who entertained us throughout dinner and we had a few laughs. Anyone on Meno should check out this place (They have two resturants, but the vibe and placement on the beach is with this Sesak cafe).

Best cafe on gilli meno. Staff is awesome and so is the vibe. After a few days it was like my second home on the island. Highly recommended. Cherry on the top is live music every day and night.

Chief recommandations are good, the service is efficient: they deliver food on bikes to go from the restaurant to the terrace on the beach which is 70m far away from the kitchen.
Only one bad point, a lot of flies due to a very bad waste management.

Settingis quite nice, by the beach and mostly made of bambú. Food quality, as the service is pretty poor though. There was a group of locals playing the guitar and singing Indonesian songs, that was really nice.

Nice beachfront restaurant on Gili Meno. There’s a “New Sasak Restaurant” that’s close by but isn’t on the beachfront. When you order food, it’s actually cooked at the New Sasak Restaurant and brought to Sasak Cafe on the beach. We ordered Pesto Fettucine and the Fried Chicken Butter (name might be slightly different), which were both delicious for good prices. The fried banana with vanilla ice cream was so tasty - you have to try it! The ambience is nice being on the beach (especially during sunset). The service was a bit slow but expected.

Lovely position and quick service in the evening. The food was ok but not what I was expecting. I had the “welcome to sasak” which was described as Crispy chicken, sautéed vegetables and sautéed potatoes. What I actually got was chicken sausages, steamed veggies and French fry chips. It was fine to eat but I was disappointed. It was nice to have the live music though!
