Sunny Surfschool

I wanted to take my time leaving this comment because it is a club that deserves it. We have reached them through Google comments and of course, they are all more than accurate. I wish there was a sunny surf school in Spain because we would always go to them. We can only thank the entire sunny team for these 5 days but we want to highlight above all Cuba and Ony who make you feel “at home”. Without a doubt, if we return it will be because of them. Long hair long live, long… thanks you guys.

Best time
I just walked past this surf school and decided to do an impromptu session. I was in the water only 10minutes after. I surfed a few times before and decided to do a 1,5h lesson.
They assigned me a private teacher who was really cool and who guided me to the best spot for my level.
Pushed me into some really good waves and gave some useful tips. The locals were extremely welcoming and didn’t mind sharing the waves with us.

Thanks a lot guys! I’d definitely come back here if I was on Gili T again.

Had the greatest time surfing here, I even extended my stay in Gili T to come back the next day! Great laughs inside and outside of the water, P was an absolute legend. I got way more confident on the board and improved the things I wanted to work on, very fruitful experience and great fun! I got send some pictures afterwards, loved those too:)

We have been coming to Sunny for years! He is the friendliest and most awesome guy that will get you surfing in no time! He will take you to the best surf breaks and to the best snorkelling spots. Don’t forget your GoPro! Sunny and his team are the greatest on the Gili Islands! Thanks for always looking after us Sunny!

Me and my girlfriend had two lessons here. Jimmy and Sunny were my instructors and they did a great job teaching me the basic techniques and helping me catch waves!

Nice surfing point at Gili Trawangan and friendly staff. You can come without preparation and they get everything ready for you. My coach Sunny is really nice and helpful. Definitely recommend everyone who wants a special experience at Gili T.

Love this place very good surfers/teachers Sunny and Herley Johan they taking very good care of you, nice waves for beginners and professional ‍️‍️ surfers. The lokal people are amazing here.

I'd had a couple of surf lessons before and only managed to stand up once. With Sunny, he had me standing up on my first wave of the day! Ever since then I've fallen in love with surfing and always make a point of going back to Sunny Surfschool whenever I'm in Bali. Super-friendly, helpful, would 100% recommend:)

Sunny’s surfschool is a place where you can find the best surfer instructors. We were beginners and already surfing when we left the first time. They help you with everything so you can get catch the best waves. We’re definitely coming back again.

Really recommend Sunny for the one-to-one lessons, particularly for beginners. Excellent, patient teacher and we had great fun and learned far more than we thought we would in an hour and a half! 5 stars

Sunny and the boys where amazing! I had a great time with them, surfing was super fun and safe, learned loads of tricks and surfed uncrowded fun waves. The beach where they are located "bongkas reef" is stunning and hanging out there with them for sunset was one of the highlights of my stay in Gili T. 100% recommended for anyone visiting Gili Trawangan.
