Absolutely love Banyan Tree! I went back almost every day! Great quality food, awesome atmosphere, lovely service!

The restaurant is just beautiful and the food. WOW!
The portions are rather large for Indonesian standards.
Best food right on the beach.

This is the only cafe around that has air conditioning. The coffee is delicious, but the quantity is small, which is disappointing.

The air conditioner is on the 2nd floor and the music in the store is soothing and good, so it's good to sit there because there are a lot of people reading books or working on their laptops.

It's an idea place, the food is exquisite, it has many vegan options, the atmosphere is great, in fact we went back a couple of times.

Got their beet juice and they charged extra for a cup, which was a coffee cup for hot drinks, but this was a cold drink. Was hard to drink from and did not get a straw either. The drink itself was very watered down, basically just water. And costed 50k lol

Just FYI this is my third time i came in to this place due the food and staff were super amazing. I love the atmosphere, services and the food. You will never ever regret to come. Hence, we too picky so we dont settle for anything. Come and try it

I had the vegan chocolate cake and the ‘athletes fuel’ (cashew milk, protein, honey and spirulina). Both were lovely! The chocolate cake was really rich and tasty, the smoothie was yummy and a good size. The place is simple but nice to sit in/on the terrace.

Went back and had the miso ramen (and more cake/a raw ball). Was very nice! The service in here is good and the food is good.

Stumbled upon this place walking from the jetty to the hotel. Great watermelon salad. Sweet, salty, and savory. Buddha Bowl is also tasty and satisfying. We were looking for fresh, light dishes and didn't realize it was vegetarian. Friendly staff. We sat on the beach but there is air conditioned seating across the street/path, too.

Update: we've visited during our week on Gili T almost every day. Dal and Tofu Stir Fry are also recommended. Busy around lunchtime.

We just love it. Dall was great! And sandwiches also. Pure vegetarian. You will get sandwich, nana, rice, coffees and other lots of options.

Seating area is great and place view is also good. Near to hearber port.

Food is nice but they need to work on their service. Waiter are friendly but it took more than 25mins to get our coffee and food.

Great place for healthier stuff, tasty salad, overnight oats, kombucha! Just the wait time for salad is a bit long, otherwise food is fresh and good!

Service can be a bit slow as it’s always busy but the food makes up for it. I had the Nasi Goreng in 2019 and again in 2022, it was delicious

We have been to this place multiple times during our stay in Gili T and each time the food was great. They have a lot of vegan and gluten free options among others. Their desserts are to die for.
They have indoor seating with Air condition and outdoor beach front seating as well

Great place for breakfast, good coffee, large menu with lots of options. It is all vegetarian, but definitely worth a visit.

Really good food, vegan and gluten free friendly. But service can take a while to get food depending on staff I assume. 30+ minutes with minimal customers.

DON’T GO HERE! They are racists. 인종차별 하는 가게. Bad service. Awful experience here! 一个种族主义商店 They didn’t come to get my order. I’ve waited for a long long time, moreover, I asked for the menu to the servers with the hijab on it they just glanced at me and ignored. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Great place, with vege food, pleast stuff and very cute girl who is adorable, great choice of various food and great fresh drinks, for every recommendation.

Amazing vegetarian and vegan food for a fair price. Try the Daal. We ate here 2x per day for a whole week! Service could be more attractive. One gentleman was so busy with his phone, he did not notice for 5 minutes the we would like to order. Or they see you sit down on a beach table but never bring you a menu.

Loved the upstairs balcony overlooking the beach front. Food amazing, cheap and really attractively presented we enjoyed gado gado and juices

We had breakfast and enjoyed it so much we returned another day. They have cold brew coffee and a lot of options. The smoothie bowl was a great way to start the morning before a snorkeling trip.

This place was open early and it had some great drinks for a quiet morning while still being inexpensive. We liked that everything was tasty and the whole place was cute (IG worthy) and clean! The location is great too as it’s a short walk from everything on the beach.

They have great vegan options! Super friendly service, great wifi. Would definitely recommend. My son loved the blueberry pancakes and chocolate peanut smoothie bowl and the tofu scramble was delicious. They have breakfast all day and the jackfruit sandwich is also a must have.

Absolutely delicious food especially for vegetarians like me - very healthy menu (with no 'Bali bellie' as a consequence!). Nice ambience and reasonably priced. My favourite dish was the Buddha bowl. Highly recommended

Good food, but they were seriously understaffed and the service was poor as a result of this, and the food and drinks took forever to get.

The quality of Banyan Tree’s food is great. I’m vegan so there are loads of amazing options but I can’t give this place a high rating because their management and service is terrible. My boyfriend and I live on the island and I’ve been coming to Gili T on and off for 3 years and it’s always been the same. I literally love the food but it takes 45mins-an hour to get nearly every time and they are never ever in a hurry to serve you. I’ve been long enough in South East asia to know that being relaxed is the way and that’s cool, but being this slow is another level. It’s Ramadan at the moment so understandable, but it’s like this all year round even when it’s super quiet! No one that lives on the island can go in a lunch break, no one can grab any food quickly in a rush and it’s such a shame because like I said the food is lovely. Sort it out guys and then you’ll get 5*s from everyone!
