Trawangan Dive Centre

Stayed at the hotel and took the Padi open water course at tdc. It was a great course with amazing instructions by Yara. She was a perfect teacher for me as a beginner and I would 100% recommend the dive centre. I always felt safe and everything was so professional. The hotel was very good too, great location and rooms.

Excellent experience! We did the refrsh and a dive and everything was more than good. Small groups, very well prepared people with very good vibes.

This was our first time diving and we couldn't have chosen a better centre! Our instructor, Marcus, was absolutely AMAZING! He took us through the pool session till we were comfortable and understood each aspect of the dive thoroughly. The main dive was pretty stunning. Marcus was extremely calm and made sure that we had the best experience possible. Courtney volunteered to take our pictures underwater which came out pretty awesome too. All in all, this is a pretty amazing place if it's your first time going diving. The staff is extremely friendly and comes from all over the world to teach. Definite YES!

We stayed at the Dive resort for Diving.
Cannot recommend enough the location, great rooms very comfortable and clean, located just by the beach front.
Very convenient for diving as the boat depart right in front and most diving site are only 3–10min away.
Special thanks to Anga who has been the best Dive Master we could wish for!

Dive Centre. We both completed our AOWC during our trip to Gili With TDC. Our dive instructor (Yara) was excellent! Yara ensured we understood what we were doing, helped us with Peak Buoyancy and had a lovely end to the night dive with the torches and bubbles! Anyone going to Gili for a PADI course should ask for Yara as an instructor in TDC. For a fun dive my son went alone and Feby (another dive master) took care of him. From the booking till the diving.everything was managed professionally. Well done!

Did fun dive here some time ago with friends. I could say that Trawangan Dive is a great place for first-timer like us. The place (condition & location), equipment and facilities are good & convenient. The Dive Master, Mas Imam Dua, was really helpful and patient enough to explain everything to us. Kerri was also so friendly and helpful about our needs and always ready for any inquiries both onsite and online (prior the visit). However, I felt like some staff & dive masters (especially non-indonesian ones) are not too friendly with other students (esp indonesian), not even smiling back, let alone say some greetings. The staff might be really busy indeed since the dive school can be packed on certain time but it wasn’t too nice knowing they’re only friendly to foreigners students (highlight bule). I was with one indonesian friend and one chinese friend (foreigner) and could see a slight difference in hospitality as mentioned above. But anyway, we enjoyed our diving time here. Thanks to mas Imam & Kerri!

Very friendly staff and reputable. It's on the main strip and very easy to get to.
Also their restaurant has tasty food.

Completed my OWC here at Trawangan Dive Centre and loved every minute. My instructor Will and fun dive guide Saleh did their upmost to make the whole experience as fun, safe and interesting as possible. The dive centre is extremely busy yet manages to manage this in a seamless way, with an efficient way of working which means everything you need is right there when needed. Would recommend booking online as it allows you to do a free fun dive after your course which was the highlight for me.

We spent 4 days with the dive school to do the PADI open water course and 1 additional fun dive and had a great time! The entire team puts a lot of effort into making everyone’s experience great, feel welcome, and ensuring a smooth process! Communication with the dive school is very easy through WhatsApp or email. Big thanks to Jess and Liv for making our first experience with scuba diving a very memorable one! We felt super comfortable through the entire course and can only recommend the dive school!

Incredible experience. The manager was very friendly and helpful and the dive staff were patient and great instructors. Everybody went above and beyond to make sure that my friend and I had the best experience possible.

I spent 8 days at Trawangan dive, did 14 fun dives in total and spent most of the time with Angga under the water. He knows where to go to find different stuff, managing people’s expectations well even if some of us were relatively new to diving! I would recommend diving with Angga

I did my advanced open water course with TDC and I’m very happy. The course was lots of fun getting to do many different dives. They offer 3-4 dives a day at many different sites so there is always something new to see or skills to try depending on the site. The booking process was easy and I was able to do it through WhatsApp. Carey is great at organising and being helpful. My instructor Saleh was lots of fun and very experienced and would always find cool things to show me on the dives. You walk just out the front of the centre to the boat which is very convenient. The gear was in good condition. All the instructors were very experienced and in high spirits so I imagine they love what they do and are treated well at this centre
My training dives were approved very quickly and so was my certification. Highly recommend!

Really impressed by this dive center. We just came back from a trip to Bali and did some fun dives with Trawangan after not having dived for 7 years. The refresher was really thorough and covered all the basic skills and really helped to get my confidence back. Instructors were very good - you're kept in small groups when out diving and the divemasters keep a close eye on you!

This dive center is amazing. I did the 2 weeks Biorock course with them and had an amazing experience.

Their service is super reliable and we could dive every day we needed. Did more than 30 dives with them and used their structure between dives.

Kamarnya bersih, kamar mandi pake air panas, viewnya bagus bgt pinggir pantai pasir putih, minus di toilet tak ada shower buat bersihinnya cuma ada untuk siram saja. Mungkin karena pengunjungnya mayoritas bule x ya, atau untuk menghemat air.

I recommend Trawangan Dive to anyone who wants to have fun diving. The staff is friendly and professional.
Saleh, my dive instructor, with whom I passed the Open Water and Advanced Dive certifications, was a very good teacher. He is passionate about marine life and loves to teach you as much as he can. He is also very attentive during the dives.

Had the worst experience there ever! I booked for a 3 weeks course and once they got paid, they treat you like you in a rude way. Every single instructor was bitter in life. Made me feel so discouraged to pursue my Dive Master course and left after few days.

I did 2 fun dives with Trawangan Dive Centre! It was great experience! The process is pretty smooth, all dive instructors are very friendly and the boat staffs are also very helpful and friendly! We went to Halik and Turtle heaven dive spot! Amazing spots indeed! Really recommended dive center in Gili Trawangan!

We wanted to celebrate for first meeting annivarsary and i am glad my girl friend choose this place; it went above my expectation the place n environment. The staff was welcoming and easy to talk to. The dives were more about learning experience and we saw lots of coral n turtles with some beautiful schools of fish and lots of turtles. Overall really nice experience.

Food wasn't as good as I was expecting and staff attention could have been better considering we were the only customers. I do understand that the pandemic had probably taken it's toll if the restaurant has had to deal with this level of custom day in, day out for a year now. The location is fantastic for people watching and the seating on the beach is gorgeous. Prices could be lowered a bit though I think.

Luxury dive center, you have to get Mr. SALLY, HE IS a professional diver he finds everything under the ocean!
He makes diving wonerfull and fun we laughed alot and saw alot. He will curtail and customize you dive as you like.
Exelent rooms and service and made to order banana pankakes and omelets not to mention the LOMBOK coffee

My 15 year old daughter has completed 2 dive courses with Trawangan Dive. She had an amazing experience each time and the whole team is very professional and lots of fun. Her instructor Patrick, took the time to explain everything thoroughly so she was confident with her diving. She is now addicted and cannot wait to return. Thank you Trawangan Dive.

Best place to learn everything about scuba diving. From the first second you step foot everyone is super helpful. People running the place are real professionals with love and passion about what they do. They treat you with respect and keep your safety above all.

Just completed my open water course and adventure deep dive with a few friends and had the best time. Sany is a experienced instructor who shows professionalism while keeping the training and dives as fun as possible. The dive sites are beautiful, the coral seems to be really healthy at depths past 10m and we saw alot of species of fish along with turtles and other creatures. My last dive today to 28m depth at the big turbo reef will be a memory to keep for a lifetime. Thanks Sany and the rest of the crew!

Nice place. Top reception very helpfull and friendly. Room are very nice, clean and they have a decend cleaning staff.

Very friendly staff, they offer room cleaning services daily. In the room, there is glass bottle with water refilled every day. The TV in the room was good during evening chill.
In ou room there was a sligthly louder climatisation and our bed was screeching and squeeking when you roll over. Also the mosque next door was a bit loud but to be honest, it never woke us and bothered us.

The guy from reception rode with us to the lombok and then found us a cheaper taxi to Kuta so thumbs up.

Outstanding food and staff. Trawangan Dive is also one of the major businesses supporting improvement of horse welfare on Gili Trawangan and is heavily supportive of the regular visits of local and international veterinarians to the Gili Islands.

Good location, good food, but increadibly slow service who were generally hard to locate each time I visited.

Everyone here is super friendly and helpful, the room we had was great and we found that TDC was located perfectly for us.

I was working toward my PADI open water cert with my wife tagging along on a couple of dives.

It says a lot about a place when all the staff are clearly having fun doing their job like the instructors and dive masters are here.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to dive than the gilis for my cert, every dive was filled with a huge diversity of sea life, and you had to work to NOT see a turtle.

We will definitely be back!

The Open Water course with Kirill = 11 out of 10. My partner and I had an absolute blast getting PADI certified at TDC. For me personally, it was my #1 bucketlist item and I’ve been dreaming about diving for pretty much my whole life so the fact that the class with Kirill exceeded my expectations is really saying something! (Give that man a raise.) He made class so much fun but at the same time, he wasn’t afraid to crack the whip and hold us to high standards. We repeated skills until we got them right and spent lots of time reviewing the theory until we all knew our stuff. He also patiently answered all of my questions with a smile (and I had a lot of them!) Our entire group finished feeling comfortable and confident in the water. We also had Kazi as our instructor for our first deep dive and she was amazing as well. When we finished our course and fun dives, I did not want to leave haha, I’ll be back sometime soon:) Thanks again guys for one of the best experiences of my life!

Highlight of our holiday! Marcus and the rest of the team made every day exciting and interesting. The perfect balance between technical and enjoyable. The poke bowls in the Fat Cats restaurant are the perfect lunch in between dives.

I didn't have any plans to go diving but my friends were adamant they wanted to get certified. One of them biked about Gili T and visited every dive shop. She said this dive shop looked the best and the staff were kind and inviting (nick/chels). They also gave us a group discount ;). We ended up taking the open water diving course the next day. Damn am I happy they dragged me into it. Chelsey was our dive instructor and she was fantastic. She knew her stuff, was laid back but also was firm when she needed to be. She made the whole experience x10 times better. The diving there was insane, we saw sea turtles, a few coral sharks and a little octopus. We also got to dive at a shipwreck. The visibility was unreal too, 30m - 40m everyday. Also, the dive sites are very close so there's no long boat rides. I would and do recommend this dive shop to anyone going to Bali/Gili T. Probably one of my favorite things I did on the trip and a new hobby I am going to continue for the rest of my life. I'll be back to get my next certification.

You will love it! The best dive instructors (sany), excellent place to stay where even economy feels like luxury, restaurant fat cats have vegan menu (+west/indonesian), on the beach. Go go go

My girlfriend and I booked here for two nights and immediately booked a third because we loved it so much. Swim-up pool bar, buffet breakfast and a room with courtyard. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier. We stayed at 5 different hotels across Indonesia and this was our favourite. Highly recommend.

I did the “Discover Scuba Diving” lesson with Dani and I absolutely loved it! I was honestly a little nervous about breathing with the regulator and worried about my mask filling up with water during the dive but Dani’s encouragement and expertise made me feel reassured and safe. Overall, I had a super fun day and I highly recommend anyone who wants to try diving to do it with Trawangan Dive as the instructors seem to be really seasoned and calm.
