Warung Gili Gede

The lady who runs the place always welcomed us with a smile. She would inform us if she had fresh fish or not and every day she had something different depending on the catch. Her cooking takes time but it is worth the wait, as it is superb! Even when there was a black out on the island, she still opened her door for us! The prices are cheaper than the hotels and the quality is on another level! Hands down the best restaurant on the whole island!

We had dinner here twice over the course of our trip to Gili Gede. Good honest food at a great price. We also booked a snorkeling trip with them (whole day) which was amazing. We also trusted them to arrange a taxi to the airport which also went without a problem. All in all we can recommend without any reservation.

We spent a week in Gili Gede and we really enjoyed so much this place. The Chicken Katsu Curry has been our favorite meal in this island. The people there are very kind and they will try to help you for everything. You can rent snorkeling services there to the near islands. We did it with them and we managed to find turtles.

We spent 5 days on Gili Gede and came to this restaurant twice, had gardo gardo and chicken satay, extra spicy. Perfect location and lovely staff. Also great juices to.

Very nice little Warung on the main (walking) street on the east coast. Food was great, same as the service.

Great place and great service. We had the fish with tomato sauce and the one with soy sauce and both were delicious! Really recommend it

Sehr leckeres Warung mit freundlichen Besitzern! Wir haben während unseres Aufenthalts gleich 3x dort gegessen (Gado Gado, Chicken Satay, Tempe Sweet, Curry) und waren nie enttäuscht

This small warung is really good and is one of the few still open on the island. What's more, it's really cheaper than the restaurants of the different hotels on Gili Gede.

We had a tasty fish lunch here. Very nicely cooked with a tasty vegetables and chips!

The owners are very friendly and considerate. We enjoyed the beach front view and watching village life go by.

The rest of the menu looked great and we would have visited again if we had time.

Schönes kleines Restaurant direkt am Strand und von der Familie geführt. Ein Einheimischer hat uns das Restaurant empfohlen und wir waren rundum zufrieden. Authentisches und frisches Essen, sehr nette Gastwirte und dazu noch preiswert. Das Restaurant kann ich von ganzem Herzen empfehlen.

Warung in front of the Sea, I tried the fresh fish with tomato sauce It was very very good. Nice people in the Village of Gili gede. Love from Italy I also used their house toilette (an experience), clean!

We were very pleased to stumble upon this little warung with fresh, authentic Indonesian food. The staff are very kind and the food was delicious. We ordered the fish which was super tasty, with a nice presentation and good portion size. Given that everything is cooked fresh after ordering, make sure to go there when you are not in a rush. It's worth the wait!

The best fresh juices I have tasted on whole Gili Gede. Really good position also, on the beach front. And I have to admit this was by far the best food I had on whole Bali and Gili Gede. Very friendly owners who also sell the fast ferry tickets with a discount. They have a little tourist information here also.
