Victory Tentena

Triple SSS for Noni (who manages the Victory with her nice family) : smart sweet and super helpful. If you pass by in Tentena, and you should because is a lovely place and the lake is beautiful, make sure you stay at the Victory. The superior rooms are very good value and comfortable, with hot water and a delicious breakfast

I can only recommend the Victory hotel! Well located, inexpensive, with a family who takes great care of travelers: it’s our mega favorite. Thanks to Noni and her family!

Uda 2x nginap disini, pelayanan memuaskan karna ramah dan tulus membantu, harga kamar juga tdk terlalu mahal dan ada berbagai pilihan kamar dgn harga, selain itu sangat bersih kamar dan toiletnya dan airnya bersih dan lancar, disediakan juga handuk dan tisyu dikamar dan tempat jemur didepan kamar. Dapat sarapan juga bisa milih mau nasi kuning atau pancake (suamiku suka skali pancakenya toping pisang & madu), ada kopi teh air bisa self service.

I cannot recommend Victory Hotel enough. Noni, the manager, was the nicest guesthouse owner we have met in 7 months of travelling. She arranged for a driver to pick us up when our bus from Rantepao arrived late at night, gave us a super informative map of Tentena and ideas of things to do, arranged onwards transport to Ampana for us, gave us vegetarian meal recommendations and was very sympathetic and kind when we had an incident with our scooter.

The guesthouse itself is simple but very clean, and the breakfast is good. Highly recommend to stay here!

The rooms are really very simple but clean. Like many here, I have to praise and emphasize Noni, the hostess: Noni is simply great. She is incredibly kind, cares about her guests and helps with any questions. She organized a scooter for us, gave us tips for various excursions and helped us organize our onward journey. Highly recommended!

Noni is one of the greatest and helpfull persons I've ever met in my life. There was nothing she couldn't help with. She organised all things we needed and gave us more than enough Information about the region. She was also helpfull with questions and things which had nothing to do with her hotel. The breakfast was really good. In total one of the best stays we ever had.

Most helpful and friendly place there is! We used Tentena as a stopover to the Togians and got all the help we asked for and more from Noni. From our late pickup at the bus stop till our middle of the night privat car to Ampana she sorted everything out according to our needs. 10/10 can't praise her service enough.
The room we stayed in was clean and the shower was hot, only downside was the window that's facing the dark backside of another house and lets in no daylight. But the yard is green with a pond and hummingbirds to make up for that.

The price-quality ratio for the rooms is good and above all the manager is really great and very caring: restaurant advice, great help for the bus, help to find a laundry, advice for visiting: really great

Great host Noni! Very good advice, super interesting exchanges and she taught us a lot of Bahasa Indonesian words!

If you go to Tentena, go to Victory (I had booked via Messenger on the Facebook page of Victory Tentena)

The place and rooms were a bit basic and outdated, but Noni was such a nice and helpful host! Breakfast was delicious and the location is near the center.

We didn't sleep here but just went for motorbike rental. Noni was super welcoming, she explained to us what to do in the region and really did her best to find a motorbike while all in the village were broken or already rented, and this for a fair price.

Penampakan dari depannya biasa sj, seperti tdk mementingkan konsep keestetikan, tapi pas masuk ke bagian dalam ternyata tempatnya agak lega/luas. Kamar2nya lumayan banyak. Harganya murah. Masih dikisaran 200ribuan include dengan sarapan, wifi gratis, kopi/teh gratis. Kamarnya lumayan nyaman. Tapi yang paling menonjol dari semuanya adalah pelayanan nya, ownernya (perempuan, sy tdk sempat menanyakan namanya) super duper ramah, informatif, sangat memperhatikan tamu, pokoknya positif vibes syekalii. Baru kali ini ditreat sm owner penginapan yang pelayanan nya luar biasa
Sarannya cuma 1, mungkin bagian depan penginapannya bisa lebih dibuat menarik, biar tamu yang datang makin banyak.

We had a standard room and stayed for two nights. We caught public bus (PO Batutumonga) from Rantepao. The bus arrived at 10pm and i didnt realise that they took the trans-sulawesi road so if you coming by bus, please note that it still about 3km from the bus drop off point. We were lucky a local gave us a lift at the back of their pickup truck to the hotel. The location is close to the town centre but as i said a bit of walk to the main road. There are two room type, standard and deluxe. We opted the standard room. It has a squat toilet which we dont mind but there is no fan. I would have given a five star if they have a fan in the room. The room is clean. Aldo, he gave us lots of information of what to do and where to eat etc, very friendly guy and speak good English. There is free tea & coffee station. They also rented a bike 100k per day but you cannot take them to Bada valley (their policy). Also, they provide a free breaky, very nice one too.

This is indeed the proper place to stay in Tentena. Doris is super kind and the staff is resourceful.

The owner really nice. They treat the guests like family. The room was quite old but clean. Apart from that service was great.

Victory hotel is the best place that you can find in Sulawesi! I really enjoy my time here, we were welcome like kings by this adorable family always careful and helpful. Also the room is clean and the breakfast is very good!

The hotel is basic, but it was clean, we always had hot water and it is of course cheap. But the family vibe and ettention of the son and especially the dougther of the owner make it a special place. They were always willing to help, give extra information on the local area and make early (night time) breakfasts. And then of course there's the surroundings, lake Poso, Tentena and its shorelines are so beautiful

Very friendly, cosy, warm atmosphare, so you feel like at home in any case! Doris and all her big family care about you all the time! It doesnt matter how tired you are, you are here always in a good mood!:)
We stayed in room Nr. 88 the best room i think in the hotel with extremly comfortable bed, hot perfekt very strong shower, big windows from both sides.
Very tasty breakfast made with Love. You can choose between Omelette, Banane pancakes, yellow rice or scrabled eggs.

Manager Noni speaks really good English and is very helpful. Good atmosphere. Rather small but OK breakfast, and free coffee and tea.

Definitely a perfect stay, Noni is great hosts very quick in her communication and very friendly. Even when we had to leave really early she made sure we had some breakfast on the go.

When we arrived she mentioned we also get an discount which was a nice surprise.

Breakfast is nice, pancakes fresh jam and fruits. The deluxe room is good, nice bed proper bathroom for Indonesian standards

She can help you sort things out when on your way to Togean. But make sure you stay a night or two to discover tentena, small city with a lot to offer. Just rent a motorbike at victory hotel and hit the road.
The waterfall is amazing.

Nice place, clean room and first of all there is Doris who can help you with everything. Even we stayed shortly only we felt very good.

We stayed one night in Victory Tentena, because we had to catch the bus to Ampana the next day. We booked the cheapest room (150.000 idr) with breakfast included. The room was perfect for us, simple but comfortable. We slept very well! The breakfast is delicious: two pancakes, lots of fruit and unlimited coffee and tea.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived late at night and we didn’t have our busticket to Ampana yet. They took care of everything for us. They called the bus company and organised a free pick-up. They even told the bus company in Poso (where we needed to change bus) that we were coming so that they would wait for us there.

Too bad we couldn’t stay longer!
