If you happen to have a reservation for a slightly larger number of people, you will be told that it will take more than an hour to serve the meal, so you won't be able to eat even though there are seats available. Therefore, it is recommended that you make a reservation.

Nice place, adem pagi pagi, but di dalem restonya agak bau hawa dapur gitu jadi eneg. Then pilih di luar—smoking area aja untung pas gaada yg smoking.

Makananya sesuai di menu, range 44-100 belum tax. Ingredientsnya so far di jelasin waiters, ramah kok 2 mas mas dan 1 mbak nya yg shift pagi 23/12/23
Cuma kaget aja tbtb di close bill pas abis deesert padahal belum minta

Everything was great! I thought i need to book before, turns out it's okay even without booking. The food are okay, ordered smth but turns out the prawn not yet available so i changed my menu to fish n chip! They didn't serve the chili sauce so i asked the waitress to provide me some. Glad that they're being quick at serving things!

The mojito is good, but it'll be better if you use a liquid sugar instead of an actual sugar bcs it's hard to stir

Suka banget sama tempatnya, bener2 di samping ulen sentalu dan masi menggunakan bangunan Belanda. Kmrn ambil area outdoor dengan pemandangan bunga2 dan pintu keluar museum. Oia parkirannya di bawah bareng museum, tpi kebetulan kita dpt space di atas depan resto horee. Makanannya enak2 kmrn cobain steaknya dan mojito sama dessertnya. Semuanya pas di lidah saya. Wajib dicoba sih kalo ke Jogja dan pas ke Kaliurang.

Restonya bersih walaupun area dine in nya kecil tapi sangat memperhatikan detail, servicenya oke.kalo toiletnya kurang si ya, mungkin karena bangunan lama jadi belum renov.lembab dan remang-remang area toilet mungkin bisa jadi koreksi buat kedepannya.dua kali kesana selalu sold out untuk menu yang sama.untuk cheese cake kemarin aku pesan dalemnya masih beku gitu jadi bukan yang lembut lumer hehe

I decided to try their steak (unfortunately, I forgot the name). However, I must admit that the steak did not meet my expectations, and I cannot recommend it. The overall quality of the steak was disappointing, lacking the desired taste and tenderness.

On a positive note, the cafe itself was a delight. It offered a beautiful view that enhanced the overall experience. The vintage furniture added a unique touch and created a nostalgic atmosphere. It was a quiet and peaceful spot, perfect for enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee or engaging in a conversation with friends.

Although the steak didn't impress me, I would still consider revisiting the resto and trying their snack menu.

First, we came during peak holiday and it was crowded. And we saw many people standing looking for empty table crowding the whole area. I asked the waiter about the waiting list, and she said just look around the table by ourselves in condescending tone. It was disappointing, considering the place laid out in a quite sophisticated way. A waiting list put on the front table should easily solve the problem, with a communicative waiter also.
We ordered grilled tuna, roasted half chicken, norwegian salmon and cordon bleu. The tuna was so hard it almost like a dried fish (pindang) not to mention there was no sauce whatsoever. The other menus was okay but nothing special considering the price i guess we just pay for the place. Also the waiter were not helpful and minding their own business behind the drink counter, the hospitality should be improved. Overall disappointing experience

Came at lunch time. Taste is good. This place has nice ambience, quite and private. Located inside Ulen Sentalu so it is always good.

A western restaurant place in Ulen Sentalu Museum located in the hill of Merapi Mountain, have a wide range of western menu also serve vegetarian option. Quite pricy taste OK not so bad

Food is ok.
On our visit, it was raining heavily. Unfortunately at the drop off, there were no umbrella’s and/ or staff that would help guests in and out of their car. Get that improved!

Setelah menjadi wishlist udah lama wheheh.kesini buat makan dan chill sambil baca buku bener-bener mendukung banget.cumaa sebenernya weekend kayaknya ga begitu oke kalau mau lama-lama karena rame banget.kebetulan kesini pagi-pagi, jadi masih ngerasain tenangnya suasana pagi di Beukenhof.makanannya surprisingly enaaaak! Dan tidak mengecewakan sama sekali, definitely will be back ️

This restaurant situated near Ulen Sentalu Museum. For western lunch lover this spot highly recommended due to food, service and atmosphere. Surrounded by natural view and also some unique facade would be a great experience lunch. Food price rather expensive for average Indonesian people. But its worth to quality and atmosphere.

Overall, not a good experience as it leaves a bad after taste in which the restaurant could have avoided easily. I know that this was to be a slightly "high end" restaurant which explains the expensive prices, but honestly besides the fish and chips it was nothing special, not really overpriced but just slightly over it's head. This normally would make this restaurant mediocre but the thing that made this a bad experience was the service.

After waiting for over an hour for the one last food that we ordered, nothing came and so, unsatisfied with the confirmation the waiter gave us when we reminder her, decided to just leave and pay the bill. During payment we had to explain how one of our food never came and confirmed that it had infact registered but wasn't made and so we obviously weren't billed for it. Up until the end we didn't get so much as an apology for the inconvenience which resulted in one of our members not having his lunch and our time wasted waiting for something that wasn't coming due to the incompetent staff and service.

I made this review as to hope that the people managing this place could get their stuff together and hopefully not let others put theirs hopes up as besides the bad experience, there are small things that bothered me while in the restaurant such as the menu being 60-70% out of stock, the table cover being dirty, the fried rice with an omelette was quite greasy, and that one of the expensive option food menu ("premium" sausages) was quite bland when we tried it, and of course several other small things. This review has been quite long already and I've given my message and point.

Restoran yang nyaman untuk makan bersama keluarga setelah museum tour, harga yang affordable

To be honest, I don't know what to say. Food is great, drink is good but one of the waitress is a little bit impolite when I'm asking an electric extension plug and kinda ruining my mood. But everything else is alright I guess.

It’s located in kawasan wisata where you have to pay IDR 4000 per person to enter.
After 15 minutes of driving you will be arrived
You can park your vehicle in the front of Ulen Sentalu Museum for IDR 5000 per car.
The restaurant is right beside the museum, it is just 7 minutes walk uphill

The restaurant is very artistics. Designed with gothic european vibes.
We ordered Cordon Bleu Fettucine and ice lemon tea. The taste was great, it’s really meaty and crunchy. The lemon tea was good as well

Ini adalah kedatangan saya yang ke 2x. Bagi saya resto Beukenhof temoatnya cozy banget untk makan sekalian refreshing, tempatnya artistik banget bangunan kuno dengan interior dominan kayu jati serta penyajian makanan yang epic, pegawai yang rapi dan sopan serta menu yg lezat, dan hutan yang lebat membuat udara fresh semua menyenagkan.

Ke sini pas awal November, untung lagi sepi. Pelayanan oke, tempatnya juga bagus buat foto-foto.

If you're looking for a nice getaway from the bustling life in the city, this is your place. The interior design is very nice, western european style. Ambience is very nice. It's like a little gem hidden in the jogja mountain.
The price is admittedly high but I would say it's worth a try at least once.

Overrated, whoever gave 5 stars definitely need to get their taste palate tested. Maybe it used to be good?

The roast chicken was average at best and the asem daging was tasteless with a touch of msg.

For the price, they can do better

Quite a nice resto amids the greenary. It is located right at the rear part of Ulen Sentalu Museum. The place was cozy n nice. The foods mostly were of Ducth (Holland) style. Good taste, moderate portion. The prices were somewhat of the Jakata's standard. There were only 2 waiters on duty when we came, it took around 30 min for our foods to come. Since it was on Sundays n many customers came, they 2 waiters were very busy but never forget to smile n served us all very deligently n friendly, way to go.

Resto berada dalam lingkungan museum, bangunan cantik dengan bergaya eropa, makanan semua enak, pelayanan ramah.

Salah satu resto favorit karena tempatnya yang sejuk dan terkesan sepi. Sebelum pandemi resto ini menyajikan menu western namun beberapa waktu terakhir ini lebih menyajikan menu lokal dengan sentuhan modern.

Dari sisi main course lebih seneng yg previous version sebelum pandemi, cuma utk dessert sekarang oke lah

One of the restaurants that is highly recommended to be enjoyed. The location is really natural and suitable for healing. The food and drinks are varied and all delicious. The place is clean and the service is also good. The staff is very friendly. The place is clean and ethnically styled so that it adds a cool impression and makes the heart calm. Located together with Museum Ullen Sentalu, its a very cozy restaurant, almost perfect I think, fresh air, cold temperature, good food, good price, good quality, good song, and good hospitality.
Serving upscale Indonesian Foods and drinks, this place is so well managed, the food is very nice, serve fast and hot.
The building is inside the maintaint forest and being designed so natural.

Very recomended to try, the value for money is so worth it.

One of the main attractions while visiting ullen sentalu, offering your tastebud with good ol time colonial meals. Beukenhof is truly a hidden gem. Their food, atmosphere, decoration, architecture, are insanely top notch. Also with the boutique underneath it. There's nothing wrong for having such a classic interior restaurant that serve nice European food. So it is a good balance with such a great royal experience with the museum tour. Food was delicious, average fast service, moderate price and could have been perfect if they have 1 or 2 more waitress to seeve the customer. The coffee n dessert was good, take the outdoor seating looking at the museum area is best spot you can take

The food is really delicious, the coffee and other beverage is also very nice! It has many western food to offer, I like the salmon, lasagna, escargot too. I just wish they clean the salad leaves carefully before serving to us. But nice restaurant with nice view. The pricr is abit expensive but It's worthy!

The location is inside Museum Ullen Sentalu. This restaurant served western food with affordable price and yummy food. I love the vibe and interior design of the resto. I recommended to visit this resto after doing museum tour!

Dutch menu restaurant in Kaliurang. Great location and great architecture of building. Its taste is good. Recommended to try when visited to Kaliurang.

I totally love the ambiance as if you're in a restaurant in Europe. The weather is so nice, surrounded by trees, and there's a balcony that allows you to see the secret garden as a part of ulen sentalu museum. Btw the beef Wellington awesome too! ️

Located close to the private musem, the restaurant is nested in a great settings. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The restaurant offers a variety of European dishes at an expensive price!
Unfortunately the price didn't reflect the food quality. The broccoli soup was way too peppery (can't tell if it was a pepper soup with broccoli or the other way around), the cheese cake was served too soon (didn't have time to be thawed properly) and the chicken was.peppery too.
Totally not worth it!

Gorgeous space and restaurant. It’s a beautiful colonial style building (I think not historical but made to look like that). The restaurant is a little expensive, (2 mains, 2 desserts, 1 side, 2 drinks for over 300k). But I think the price is worth it because the setting is so pretty and green. It usually rains here so bring a jacket!
The food was quite good. Only problem was the creme brûlée, wasn’t really like traditional brûlée with the crispy top. I think next time they can add more sugar and caramelize for longer.

Kalau view yang ditawarkan tempat ini, gausah dipertanyakan lah ya. The problem is, waktu saya makan ada lalat hijau even sudah ada tindakan preventif diberi lilin, its still there dan sangat menganggu please do something dengan problem lalat hijau, apalagi waktu tamu pesan makanan yang terbuat dari daging

One of the best place to visit when you're in Yogya. The food was superb, the ambiance was so great, and the service was nice. Worth visiting!

I always drink Zenzero coffee when i visit this museum. Their restaurant in the back of the museum. The best spices coffee in Jogja.
